there is 100 % method : 1 ) cr8 lvl 1 char with gem of ease lvl 25 weapon 2) cr8 game torment 1 and lvl up to 5 (halls of agony 1-3 floor ) 3)open vault ( with illusory boots in cube ) and just run to BOSS , kill only boss no touch trash in vault you get 1-2 ethereals per run , rarely like 1/10 they not drop P:S for puzzle ring farm make 31 lvl character dh or monk (kadala rolls rings)

Holly crap... It works. I changed only 1 thing. T6 for the vault. Got 2 Eth. I think it doesn't change anyrhing between 1 and 6

@@pascalmeyer8768 i did all my runs on T-1 , i tested on T-6 and i think its doesnt matter , T-1 just faster , mb if you run ancient vault better go T-6 but boss be hard 2 kill

@@stushepard9402 i just go lucky and use a primal with a gem of ease. 2 hits on boss and gg even had the audacity to go back in and kill the gobs hahah. Just overkill. But I agree. Reg legendary with gem of ease and T1 is sufficient.

Took three weeks to get them all but I finally got the achievement. Thanks to you and others with the help of your build videos. Just took three days doing it with my other account using the puzzle ring method.

There is a method with Vault lvl 1 farm. You just play regular, nothing special. The only difference - you have to make Lvl70 weapon "zeroed" with gem of easy, and you have to spend significant amount of blood shards with lvl 31 char to get as much as possible puzzle rings. not to difficult. day or two, you need about 20-25 rings. Then you do next: 1) create lvl1 char, take the weapon, and go to vault on T6. 2) Inside the vault you need to kill enough mobs to get lvl6, but not to exceed lvl11. 3) So killing of Greed you need to be at levels more than 5 and less than 11. 4) On kill Greed you will receive 2 legendaries: 2 Leoric crowns (worst case, rare), Crown + Ethereal (not bad), 2 Ethereals (quite often case) 5) repeat from beginning. Theory: Greed always drops 2 legendaries, if you at least lvl5. Before lvl 11 ONLY Leoric crown available, Plus also 3 types of ethereals. so get the ethereals from greed more chances than crown. In group Notes: - Create party in lobby, ALL must be lvl1 (If any bigger - on kill of mobs you'll get more EXP, and will miss lvl 11) - It means NO high level DD. Lvl 35-40 Char on t6 will give 10-15 lvls for lvl1 char on kill of single mob, that will be fail. - Also you need to use Cube to "zero" the weapon, not socket the Gem of ease - you don't need "extra" XP. - Need to control levels of party members. As soon as the rest of the team get their 6 levels - skip all the mobs. - The higher level you'll get by the greed, the harder to kill the greed - 4 man, lvl 7 - need probably LoD, otherwise you'll spend 30-40 secs for boss. In Solo - One-shot the greed. - If you'll kill too much mobs and stuck in the middle of vault, you'll have to kill some more to clean the path, and may exceed the lvl11. So don't kill to much to have "spare" level for that case. It is really rare, but it is safe. Why this way? You don't need to spend 4-5 (And more) hour on snapshot farming - just play you regular style, farm paragon, do bounties whatever you usually do.. Just spend some shard for puzzle rings. On lvl31 char it is quite easy.

Gz Filthy, I just finished Barbarian, Monk, Crusader, Demon hunter. I got one for mage and necro , missing the 3 of the witch doctor. The season has been a blast

I cheesed it and it was still a very painful experience. I actually didn't mind putting together speed builds for each class but after about an hour each it got really tedious. I can't imagine having done this legitimately.

Why can’t they just stay in the game. They make it so much more fun. Actually pushing super high gr. They can easily add more ethereals to keep diversity,it’s a whole other weapon class. Seems like a lot of coding wasted removing them.

I'm at four with 3 (Barb, Wiz, WD, DH), Monk at 2, and necro with 1. All played naturally also. Not worried about the crusader having mained that several times and the Lightning AoV is a fun fast spec. Really dreading the other two on Necro. Never found a necro spec I like even a little. I've been using Wiz, WD, and DH to farm keys with and have gotten my ethereals just doing that. This has been the funnest season for me in a long time.

I was doing the lvl12 T6 method and it works really well but an even better method is simply to use normal puzzle rings in a T6 lvl12 game with fresh lvl1 chars and have a friend clear vault and you join for Gheeds and repeat keep remaking the chars as lvl1 before each vault run until you get all 3 ethereal skins. I got ethereals back to back several times but more often every 2nd-3rd vault run whereas the gem of ease T6 lvl12 method took a lot longer and was totally random - some I got fairly quickly others I did 20-40x runs per char. In all only took a few hours and the vault method I did 3 chars in under an hour.

Crafted a whole build and still couldn't find all 3 Ethereals for Monk. Able to Solo GR85+. Created a Level 5 and asked someone to hold the game. Returned with my Level 70. Completed a few Vault runs with leftover Puzzle Rings and finally found them. Greed drops 1-3 Ethereals at Level 5. Other Legendary that may drop is Leoric's Crown. 2 more Classes to go to end the collection.

My DH (as does a friends I'm playing with) gets tons of those ethereals. The Necrotook a while. Most I had drop is 3 in 1 GR. I'm not doing it, no way in hell I play a wizard again.

Out of the 70 shown in your in-game count. How many of them were cross-class drops? In PTR, I got a few, but so far in S24 all have been on-class.

The main thing I've observed is that my drop rate in groups seemed very radically lower than solo, is this something others have also noticed? It kind of seemed to me the stealth nerfed group drops to nerf the t6 lvl 11 farming method some streamers promoted.

Puzzle rings are not a waste of time. Just make a level 1 character with a level 70 weapon (level 25 gem of ease on it, DON'T put it into a socket, you do NOT want the experience). T6 and you are getting 1-3 ethereals each run. Guaranteed.

They do, you can transmog anything once you have the achievement. It will only show in the season currently, once the season ends it will go to the non season and future seasons.

Why are you trying to find them at max level? Just make a lvl 5 char of each class and use puzzle ring on those at Torment 6 and run through without killing anything but Greed and you will very quickly farm the ethereals. Don't go above lvl, I think 30, so max 2 puzzle ring per char before you remake.

thats just the slow way. i did LVL 11 T6 rift over and over whit gem of ease cube in the weapon and only killing elites and boss .. got all 3 transmog whit in 1 hour pr class... ez to get all.

You got lucky, I did the same but generally grouped in public games, and 1 hour was not typical. I once counted 12 fully cleared rifts without an ethereal.

make a new character, level 5 then do puzzle ring, don't kill anything just go right to greed and kill him. u will get 2 legendary drops, possibly 2 ethereal per class, for fast puzzle rings, get WD or monk level 31 and spend all blood shards on rings at kadala, the fastest way to get the rings in my opinion

Ethereals absolutely should be in the non-season, they don't break the game any more than all the modded gear out there with people clearing 150 GR in 30 seconds. All they do is add an additional spin and power level for legit non-season players. This game is on it's heels and out the door soon anyway, give us the powerful weapons to be able to legit crush in non-season. I don't wanna hear all this "blah blah the game is fine" crap, it's boring, the Ethereals add a new flavor, keep'em.
