Listening to the “rant” on defending the short passing game and run after catch reminds me of what Belichick said during the manning cast “the Bills are bad at tackling” obviously he’s recently scouted both teams. I think this is really the same old gripe you/we’ve had for years under McDermott we don’t tackle well. It would be more palatable if we were forcing turnovers or something but we aren’t we are just launching/bouncing off ball carriers.

Based off Brady’s usage of Diggs last year I am not expecting Cooper to have a career best season, I do think that having a legitimate perimeter threat is going to allow the offense to function as intended and be a benefit to all in it. I am expecting that the bills will need to take more shots on the perimeter and have some success there for the true impact of this acquisition to be felt in the scheme

@mongoosemcmongoose Agreed but I think the scheme is not so different from last season and to lend credence to my expectations take a look at the philosophy they adopted from the onset of training camp “everybody eats” meaning they were aware that this scheme is not intended to feed a majority of targets to anyone style of player. Cooper will likely see a career low in targets this season but that does not mean it will be negative or reflect poorly on him

Yeah I disagree on immediately cutting MVS. There are a few scrubs at the bottom of this roster (Morrow, Ulofoshio, Logue) and all it takes is one injury at WR and you’re down to four active WRs with Tyrell Shavers being called up. MVS has had some good Playoff games in two Super Bowl runs with the Chiefs. KJ Hamler does not.

Everything about Davis is better than Cook. From his north and south running style. The decisive cuts to the clutch catches. Let's be real. The Bills can't afford Cook coming contact.
