Also Jack. The whole point of his character is that nobility comes in many forms, and he has shown time and time again that he can recognize when to get over himself and think of his partners. He literally scoffs when Doggy Krueger asks what he would do if the pink ranger was to be appointed red instead. Sky Tates wasn't the Time Force Red Ranger. Sky Tates father was the original SPD Red Ranger before him. Just like how Jayden's Father was the Samurai Ranger before hime, and Brody father was the original Ninja Steel Red Rangers. No Power Rangers team on TV has any familiy relationship with other power Ranger teams. Parents that were Rangers before their children were part of the Same team.

Sky Father and the original SPD Rangers were the parents of the B Squad Rangers. So how would Wex Collins and the Time Force Rangers be the parents of the SPD B Squad Rangers???? It's impossible for Rangers from 3000(Time Force) to be the parents of the year 2025(SPD), since Ranger from the year 3000 were born after rangers from the year 2025. Bro.. Wes has to be number one.. He taught the whole team that ones destiny can change, that it is not predestined. Plus Casey is a great red ranger, his journey from being the outsider all the way to trusting his gut just to save the bully who tried to hurt him in the beginning of the show while EVERYONE forbid him from even attempting to save Jarod makes his story arcs one of if not the greatest story arc for a Red Ranger.

His season is about him, his growth, and everything in between. He grows into being the leader, feels like RJ takes over when he becomes a ranger. Tj is a very underrated red ranger because turbo sucked. But as a leader Tj is one of the best he filled Tommys shoes, he led the team well. He was the only one to believe bulk and skull on being innocent and went out of his way to help them prove it. He wouldn't stop fighting divatox to the death they lost the command center and their powers he blew up the zords still didn't quit they followed them to space. When he was promoted to blue he wasn't butthurt about it just glad to be a ranger.

I know I’m 4 years late. Just found this video. You completely missed the point of Jack and sky. Jack was like that at the start but with the coaching and guidance from cruger, grew to be an amazing leader and a great ranger. Sky was not chosen as the red ranger because he thought he was entitled to it. He grew as the blue ranger and thats why the question “if I was to appoint Syd as red ranger, would you follow her into battle” was so vital to the first and last episodes. I have to say Nick is the worst Red Ranger. Nick was the first to give up and he barely bond with the other Rangers. Chip and Xander bonded better with the other Rangers than Nick did. Troy is close second as the worst, that Troy did better that he did isolate himself with the others, but he did get better over time or at least much more than Nick ever did.

Dude i can some of the points but you missed it for casey jack and cole. All three of them grew in their own way, of course theyre gonna have flaws, who doesn't, but either they learned improved or moved pass those flaws. Casey is the prime example and he actually did get his master stripes after doing what others thought was impossible and bringing back jared from daishis control. If you know linkaras history of power rangers videos i recommned watching his jungle fury one as he made very good points about casey. As for why other choices for sky jared and taylor, all three were arrogant and put themselves above the team. Its fine for a leader to have confidence in themselves but they must be humble to lead, otherwise youre just gonna have that scene in time force where the team started to go against the original red time force ranger.

Sky isn't Red because of the conversation at the beginning of the series. How did Brody rank over Casey? Casey is the base of character growth along the season in terms of Red. Rocky is.. who? and over Conner? Idk how he's #9. Jason from the movie counts, but Quantum Ranger(who was in Forever Red) /Crimson Ranger. I like Shane, but he doesn't earn a top spot. He's good but he's mid-tier. Tommy shouldn't be #2 if we're only counting his Zeo/Turbo Spots. Turbo drags him down a couple spots and since when was he ever making an interest in racecar driving? Although Zeo was great, did he really earn #2?

I still say you could have put Eric Quantum Ranger on this list since he was included in the Forever Anniversary Episode. I'm shocked that you put Connor before Tyler since Connor started off as a bully but when they introduced Tyler he was known as sweet.... You truly got Jack from SPD character really wrong. For one he wasn't the rude one. Jack was used to be on his own with no one looking out for him but Zee. The rude and terrible one was the Blue Ranger Sky. He was prejudiced and turn his nose up against a homeless person who became a Red Ranger and didn't appreciate or like Bridge. In my opinion Sky look at Doggie Cruger like his enemy at some times. Jack took the leadership of being a Red Ranger responsibly. A good leader looks out for one another and that's what he did giving up his Red Ranger Morpher to Sky to settle his revenge on his father's killer. Plus he wanted to prove Sky wrong that anyone can lead.... Btw Casey on Jungle Fury actually did get his stripes to become the tiger master the end. R.I.P. Cole is my fav because of character development, his thing with doctor allister(can’t remember his name)/master org. Another thing, red rangers are often the main character, Cole is one of the driving forces of the plot, if he didn’t exist, half of the show wouldn’t. His personality of being one with the wild is great and his kindness (e.g. to kite)

Not gonna lie, I'm kinda shocked Rocky is anywhere but at the bottom of the list: he wasn't charismatic, didn't had any development throughout his entire stay, it's the only red ranger i can completely say didn't lead what-so-ever and his base personality in itself was pretty dull for a red ranger. Hell, I feel the producers knew this and that's why they did what they did on the Turbo movie (which honestly didn't help his character in the slightest bit). Most of the other characters I can agree or at least see where you are coming from but Rocky is really weird.

I think I am holding onto nostalgia for him. When I rewatched the series last year, he wasn't how I remembered him. But he is the red ranger I grew up with, but I completely understand your reasoning

Sad that the Crimson Ranger wasn't on the list. He is technically a red ranger from another ninja academy. Plus his armor is perhaps one of the coolest in the red ranger category. Character wise? IDK i have to rewatch ninja storm again for that.

So you got all that from just one episode with Jack?? He was lazy one episode but at the end learned from his mistakes and even ran the course! Rest of the series he was great and towards the end a awesome leader and friend. Amazing what he did for Sky too. Sky was a jackass in the beginning guess you forgot about that though

I don’t really like red rangers like Jason or Carter because they are someone who are born to have a good leadership I much more preferred red ranger like Casey or Jack or Wes because there leadership isn’t something they born with but it is something that they earn over time. Which is make them to be much more relatable.

I take this guy hates character development and a good story where a Red Ranger starts from the bottom and had to work his way to the top by the end... which is why I think Casey is one of my best Red Rangers. In SPD, Sky had a hard time following let alone leading where at one point he disregard orders because of his ego and then the villain won in result. Jack was a good Red Ranger because he does look out for his team and Sky had issues with that. I have to say Nick is the worst Red Ranger because he failed to bond with the other Rangers. He barely leads, he is the first to give up, and he doesn't bond well with the Rangers outside being Rangers. Troy is close second as the worst Red Ranger. While Nick is far the better acted, what Troy does better that he was very isolated with the other Rangers at first, but he did get better with that over time and that is a lot more than what Nick did. Even I feel Xander and Chip were better Rangers because like Nick, they didn't have friends according to their backstory, but here comes Vida and Madison to accept them. They tried to do the same with Nick, but Nick brushes them off to go riding with mommy and daddy.
