How orochimaru got them was probably when he was on akatsuki and obito gave him some for research or something. Hashirama cells still live today because they constantly multiply themselves and form new cells, it's literally why they are so powerfull and wha made him being allowed to have self healing.They are kinda like stem cells from the real world but on steroids and can allways make new ones.

Pls allow me to summarize a couple of things about Hashirama's and even other people's cells. Hashirama's cells have: -Been implanted, going as far as to replace lost limbs. Doing this, they will sharply boost one's chakra reserves, giving them access to wood release (mokuton), an increased lifespam and faster cooldown of chakra-demanding techniques (like kotoamatsukami). -Given chakra to someone who either had them implanted onto him or just ate them, giving enough chakra to turn a sharingan into a rinnegan. -Survived for like 100 years. -Been used, in Boruto, to help cultivate a smaller version of the 10 tails (which was flawed, but this was likely not the cell's fault). There's only a few other characters whose cells have remotely similar habilities: -White Zetsu's cells can be used to replace lost limbs or even half a body, granting the user with great regenerative powers and allowing Obito to use his mangekyō sharingan without getting ill. -Black Zetsu was able to use his own body, Madara and the 10 tails to summon Kaguya from a seal. -Orochimaru's cells and blood granted Kabuto insane abilities similar to Orochimaru's, and also gave him extra chakra. Orochimaru's cells are, in fact, the only ones to be used to augment one's own power and grant new abilities other than Hashirama's, which is an insane status. Orochimaru was also kinda a kage, as he created the village of the sound, Otogakure. Orochimaru is no longer a human, but rather a snaje monster who posseses human bodies and can change bodies after a minimum of 3 years of use (at lest it used to be 3 years) and a maximum of arround 4, as the body starts to deteriorate. He has achieved the truest form of inmortality an organism has ever achieved, second only to the tailed beasts'. Finally, there are some characters whose cells probably have simmilar perks: -Kaguya Ootsutsuki's cells should be the most powerfull, though also very dangerous, as she could probably materialice a new body out of a couple of cells and scape her sealing. The new Ootsutsukis from Boruto probably would also behave like this. They would also turn a sharingan into a rinnegan. -Hagoromo Ootsutsuki's cells would turn a sharingan into a rinnegan. -Indra Ootsutsuki's cells. -Asura Ootsutsuki's cells would turn a sharingan into a rinnegan. Also, any cells from any Uzumaki or Senju should be able to do so too. -Homura Ootsutsuki's cells would turn a byakugan into a tenseigan. Any cells from the Moon's Ootsutsuki should be able to turn a Hyuga's byakugan into a tenseigan, and any cells from a Hyuga should be able to turn a Moon Ootsutsuki's byakugan into a tenseigan. -Naruto's cells. He should probably allow Sasuke and Sarada to just... take a lil' bite. I mean... they need as many rinnegans as they can get their hands on. In fact, he should allow all ninjas he trusts to do so, so they can be better prepared for the Ootsutsuki's attack. He also showed perfect compatibility with Hashirama's cells. Oh, and also... The rules of reincarnation dictated Indra and Asura couldn't reincarnate again untill both of their already-existing incarnations died, so... how did they reincarnate into Naruto and Sasuke if Hashirama's cells are still a thing? What exactly is dying? Ok, probably brain death is enough... K, thx for reading.

@@grantpflum6844 Your comment doesn't mention anything that happens in the manga which implies that you haven't read a single chapter. In that arc, Shukaku was sealed inside a teapot so he couldn't even use any of his techniques or monstrous strength. Also, there would be exceptions since Himawari is the only known exception to the Hyuga being born with Byakugan. She is half Uzumaki so it's possible the Uzumaki DNA might've messed with the Hyuga DNA. Check how genes work. To summarise, if you're going to say something is trash at least use evidence from both the anime and manga. When you do, make sure it's about the same thing and takes place in both manga and anime. For example, if you talked about Kara (something CANON TO THE MAIN STORY) then it would've made more sense. I don't exactly see you talking trash about Naruto filler do I?

@@billystokes3917 The thing about Himawari being half Uzumaki and half Hyuga is simple. It all depends on the dominant gene. Naruto's Uzumaki gene plus his nine tails affinity is the dominant one considering Himawari's facial structure and her latent powers. The chance of her activating the byakugan after not being born with it is so slim. However the author decided to completely disregard everything I mentioned. Naruto didn't even have the chakra chains which were a trait of the Uzumaki. He himself had the Uzumaki gene as his dominant one but he couldn't even activate his mother's ability. This shows how much it's hard to pass down bloodlines when mixed and yet Himawari has two bloodlines i.e. high physical attributes from the Uzumaki side and the byakugan from the Hyuga side. Boruto feels like a fanfic written by an 11 year old who wants the protagonist to have everything. No logic is present there. Edit: Before anybody wants to retort about chakra bloodlines, let me remind you that chakra bloodlines are born from the mixing of different chakra types. Therefore all the chakra bloodlines are related in a sense. But the Uzumaki bloodline and Hyuga bloodline are completely different and quite frankly impossible to combine. Senju, Uzumaki, Hyuga and Uchiha bloodlines aren't normal bloodlines considering they're directly originated from the Otsutsuki. Meanwhile other bloodlines came from the humans experiencing chakra and their bodies' natural reactions/mutations.

@@jumoko875 Ah yes, because the Third Hokage definitely isn't known s the GOD OF SHINOBI of his time because of his mastery over all chakra natures (something very difficult to do) and all hidden jutsu in the leaf (something that is basically impossible). Tobirama (the second) invented the Shadow Clone Jutsu, Flying Raijin Jutsu, Reanimation Jutsu and many more. He also possibly revolutionised hand signs since he only had to weave one hand sign to perform jutsu. He fought against twenty s class shinobi and Kinkaku and Ginkaku (two s class shinobi with the nine Tails chakra) by himself and held them off long enough for his students to escape. Tsunade invented the Hundred Healings technique and revolutionised healing jutsu. She is considered the strongest kage physically and was able to destroy a reanimation with one punch (which no one else has done). She also destroyed the ground multiple times and pushed through many attacks that would result in death (mainly being impaled by susano'o blades). Her attacks are stronger than the raikage when in their base states, and is stronger than the Raikage when in her Hundred Healings Release physically, even when the Raikage was in his chakra cloke. Now, where is your evidence that they're all trash?

But, it was never implicated that she could perform the mitotic regeneration jutsu, as that's a separate forbidden jutsu from the seal that Tsunade created. Tsunade just uses that unleashed chakra to perform that forbidden med jutsu. We don't know what Mito used the chakra for Gotta remember the 100 seal is fuinjutsu that can be unleashed to power any jutsu. Mitotic regeneration is seperate and is med ninjutsu
