In this video, we go over the powers of all Kage from Naruto Shippuden (Hokage, Mizukage, Tsuchikage, Kazekage Raikage) and determine just where they'd stack up against eachother. Who is the strongest kage? Who is the weakest?

Most of the comments I'm getting can be answered in my Minato and Hiruzen videos, but I'll answer some more particular ones: Also since I know a lot of these are going to come up, in the original raws for the Naruto manga, Tobirama says Minato has better body flicker (movement) speed, not teleportation. That raw scan is in the Minato video in the description if you're interested. Kakashi LOW and Part 1 Kabuto comparing to Tsunade was only for BASE Tsunade, I thought I made that pretty clear.. Me bringing up the Light Fang is not referring to Naruto evading it, it was simply a declaration of things being light speed in general late in the show to show the power cliff, once again, pretty clear. I talk about speed in better detail in Ichigo VS The Akatsuki if you really want to talk about feats, this is just raw power scaling, not so much feat calcs. "Where is Naruto?!?!?!?!" Shippuden only, Kakashi was taken out because I'm considering giving him his own video Prime Hiruzen (Who is the version we are using in this video not old hiruzen) is a preponderance and Narrative argument, the only counters are arguments from incredulity vs opinions from many Shinobi and the Databooks, which is faulty reasoning. He's just too unknown to disagree with these statements, just like it's silly to disagree with 3rd Kazekage > Shamon / Rasa because we don't know much about him. The 3rd Raikage VS 4th Raikage argument was pretty well solidified, and the 4th Raikage used to fight next to the 3rd even when he was younger and was a massive support. Minato is above the 3rd Raikage due to have having higher reaction speed and hax as well as the ability to seal things under 9 tails tier in strength with Uzumaki seals (Doesn't need the Reaper Death Seal in the words of Kushina) he also threatened Ay who was stronger than a Perfect 8 Tails Jinchuuriki with a Kunai and used the same lightning armor as the 3rd. The teleportation, seal, gg, strategy is all he needs though. It should noted that since we are considering Edo Abilities for Tobirama the same could be granted for Minato, so Minato is Sage Mode / KCM if you really disagree with Base Minato's placing anyway. After looking into it, Gengetsu and Mu do state they beat eachother in the manga, so my ranking is perfectly fine. I was more so worried because I kept projecting in my head that the statement was from Storm, apologies. (Doesn't change anything other than make the ranking more valid) (The flashback was actually Itachi's that causes confusion, which makes the claim that they're equal even more redundant) A lot of people are complaining that Tobirama invented a lot of jutsu and that's "What he did tho," him inventing jutsu does not make him particularly powerful, and other shinobi mastered these same jutsu better than he ever did. I only brought up the future mattering for the Kazekage as that was pretty much the ONLY difference between the starter Kazekage, it doesn't apply when there's more information to go on.

Mu is criminally underrated. He has particle style that can disintegrate entire armies, he can turn invisible and extinguish his chakra so not even sage mode can detect him. His sensory skills allowed him to sense someone miles away. He knows all 5 chakra natures, he is a master swordsman with probably the best reflexes among most if not all kage. He would make a master assassin and could infiltrate any village if given the opportunity. I mean the guy could fly for god sakes. Perhaps his only weakness was his susceptibility to genjustu otherwise I don’t understand how he could not go up against hashirama or even Madara without the Rinnegan (we already know particle style can beat susanoo) at any point, he truly was the one of the strongest shinobi of all time. Hell he could even split his body into two if pushed into a deadly situation. Really wanted to see more of him in the series.

Tobirama took on 2 jinjuriki in the gold and silver Brothers with like 20 s class Shinobu, also he created most of the jutsu that the Shinobi use. He also was the strongest water user without a water source also he was strong enough to scare almost everyone with edo tensei at less than full original power. So he should be at least a little higher imo.

The best thing tobirama can really do is the flying raijin and Minato did it better , tobirama does have good water jutsu but Minato could easily teleport away and react to ,especially with sage mode, and the rasengan combined with sage mode and a better flying raijin is a pretty good case for tobirama losing and if Minato summoned Gamabunta idk what tobirama could do . They can both do shadow clones which won't effect the battle much, even if Tobirama uses a whole bunch of jutsu , most of them are gonna be either useless against Minato because of either the speed of Minato or the fact there wouldn't be much of a point to use it . Kakashi knew tons of jutsu and we don't see him use them all that often and in debates the main point brought up for him is the fact he has chidori and the sharigan. So I dont think many of tobirama has will come into play in most situation. A more fun and reasonable argument would be tobirama vs Garra or tobirama vs yagara

I always criticised Dragon Ball Z for the increasing power level. Future Trunks humiliated Freeza and his father, but was humiliated by the androids. Unfortunately, Naruto took the same way of power level, so the Seven Ninja Swordsmen, Anbu, jonins, and other elite ninjas are weak at the end of the series. That's why I prefer Classic Naruto over Shippuden.

Heres how I see it. Hashirama and Hiruzen are from two different eras. That already poses a problem for Hashirama because a lot of his feats go into legend and maybe not everyone believes all of it as true anymore. I think over all their feats were pretty equal but the reason why people believe Hiruzen is stronger is because they weren't alive to witness Hashiramas feats. All they see are their current Kage and his amazing strength and in their minds theres NO WAY anyone could be as good. Or at least not better.

so as a straight up power ranking id say this list is pretty solid (though i would argue that hashirama and hiruzen are maybe lower than minato cuz minato is opaf and wasnt at his peak when sarutobi is called the strongest in the village and hashiramas wood style directly counters the bijuu so arguably is more about debuf than str), but i think the reason gaara tsunade and tobirama's rankings are all so easy to want argue is that while this is power rankings dont account for other variables. gaara: is 16 at the time of judgment versus everyone else being adults of 20+ tsunade: has developed insane medical jutsu. her battle prowess is good but not what she's known for tobirama: similarly to tsunade, tobirama is a decent powerhouse as shinobi go, but his skills seem to be more on the RnD side with his development of jutsu like the hirashin and edo tensei

Hiruzen is the 3rd strongest Hokage behind Hashirama and Naruto imo, its just that we've just not seen him in his prime. You gotta remember he was named the strongest Kage and the second god of shinobi (after Hashirama) in a time where the third Tsuchikage, second Tsuchikage (strongest Iwa Kage ever) and third Raikage (strongest Kumo Kage ever) were alive. Minato just didn't live long enough to truly be stronger then Hiruzen ((in his prime), old man Hiruzen gets clapped by minato) and while Tobirama made plenty of god-tier Jutsu, he was never the master of any of them.

Tobirama is stronger in my opinion than Mu, Ōnoki and Gengetsu. He had the best showing of all Kages against Obito, while massively weakened by Edo Tensei. The nerf level is such that Madara busted out of the Deity Gates while only coming back to life even without even having his eyes. Also Hashirama is the undisputed strongest Kage by the end of Shippuden, nothing that is done by Hiruzen during the entire series shows that he is waranted to even be in the top 3 strongest Kages. My top five would be in descending order: -Hashirama -Minato -Tobirama/Hiruzen ( Hiruzen mainly because it is through spoken word)

Hashirama gene is popular due to shenju blood hax + wood style. Hiruzen is 60 year old when fighting Kurama and 70 when fighting full power Orochimaru(who is equal to his war arc power. Don't use scaling between these period because he is weaken by Hiruzen) and 1st and 2nd hokage(both weaken but pretty much only on ninjutsu and intellect part). When it was said that the 3rd was considered the strongest kage, I interpreted that line as, "Out of the other Kage from all the villages during that time, he was the strongest" So stronger then Onoki, Kazekage, Raikage, Mizukage during that generation. Not strongest HOkage of all time.

Lol, the guy already SHOWED YOU A PAGE FROM MANGA in the video. Kurama, who lives in all Hokage's era, said PRIME HIRUZEN is the strongest. So it would put him at least on par with Hashirama. He was stated to know every single jutsu in existence, up to Orochimaru's invasion.

@@mazeluchi9508 you're fanboying too hard. Madara was bodying all the kage when he was enhanced with Hashirama's cells. You'd have to say EMS Madara and Hashirama. The 5 kage would've have a much easier time against Madara with only EMS instead of revived, extra powerful, mokuton wielding Madara. Minato and Tobirama are both geniuses and could definitely utilize a plan to counter them when they also have Hiruzen and the other kage. Hiruzen could lead the other kage with Minato and Tobirama acting as support. Hiraishin can be used to blitz the two when they need to recover or are off guard. Minato on his own is a legitimate threat to Hasirama or Madara 1v1, especially with sage mode. Outside of a sneaky tree limb, what moves do they have that can catch Minato or Tobirama?
