It is regrettable that Pyramidhead's perks have so limited application since they are conceptually solid to his purpose as an entity. At least his power is awesome. Meanwhile Clown is kind of the opposite lol. Its too bad his map is just another Crotus Prenn variant instead of a unique carnival. A giant circus tent. A house of mirrors. Popcorn stalls with bugs and webs all over them. That would've been creepy.

I would argue that Forced Penace is underrated. It counters all healing perks and body blocking strats, leaving survivors vulnerable. It’s stronger on some killers compared to others but as long as you can catch them off guard or force them into a bad position then the team will crumble. Especially if they have to go for a save yet they are still broken. I’d say the thing holding this perk, and many others back, is just the random map selection and bad map design which hinders killers being able to capitalize.

@@thewarden3554 Forced Penance is fantastic, I will die on this hill. Especially on killers that don't deal with body blocking particularly well, like Hag. Inflicting broken on someone for 80 seconds means the killer decides when a survivor can heal, not the other way around. It has consistency in areas that Sloppy Butcher or Coulrophobia lacks, which is an absolute must with how quick survivors can heal now. Pair it with Nurse's Calling and you got a deadly combination.

Agreed, I think the two perks Predator and Bloodhound should be reworked to be something like this: Predator: While in chase with a survivor, gain Bloodlust 15%/20%/25% at a faster rate. Scratch marks appear more consistent while in chase. Bloodhound: When you put a survivor in a injured or dying, gain a Bloodhound token. Start the trial with 0/1/2 tokens and gain the following: 1-2: Bloodpools are brighter than normal. 3-5: Survivor's Scratch marks stay 3 Seconds longer. 6: You see injured Survivors aura within 12 meters of range.

I think that Dissolution should be reconsidered. It's a much stronger perk than people give it credit for. You can't just meet the requirements for Dissolution and expect it to work. If you force the survivor into having no option BUT to vault the pallet while Dissolution is active, the pallet breaks and you get the hit IMMEDIATELY. I love your videos, but I hope you see why Dissolution is very strong on most killers

I think that Grim Embrace is so underrated, I'd give it a +2 or even +3 instead. It may work only once but for 30 seconds you are sure that no gens can be done and you can also spot your obsession. I truly can't consider it a low tier perk.

The problem is that it's kinda redundant. If you've hooked everyone once, the survivors are probably licking their wounds and regrouping if they're coordinated. Stopping them from completing generators doesn't really do anything, since that's not their goal at that moment, so practically you get 20 seconds of gen stopping, which is useful but not worth a perk that only activates once. +2 at most imo

If anyone wants to know who to unlock first, in my opinion go for Onryo and nemesis. You can build an absolutely disgusting meta build on most killers. The build would be: Call of brine, eruption, lethal and floods of rage. Combines gen regression with info. Call of brine pairs very nicely with eruption. Lethal gives pressure early game and boosts info gained from floods. Many survivors struggle to play around these perks. COB and eruption are disgusting in 3 gen scenarios too

Yeah, I think he doesn't know how the perk is not as good since it no longer slices off 25% of the Gens meter and instead removes 20% of the current progression, making it only good when the generator is near completion. Not dogging it as a few killers can make it work like Freddy and Blight, but there isn't many situations where you find survivors juuuuust about finish and you come to interrupt their progress.

Overall a good tier list but there are some perks that imo are either Overrated or Underrated. For example you gave 2 points for Eruption and gave 3 to Oppression it just doesn't really make sense for me. I would also give Pop Goes the Weasel a 3 instead of 4, Pop being as strong as Pain Resonance would be true before the big Perk rework but right now not really. Also people still get confused on the 20% of the progress of Pop. It's 20% of it's CURRENT not TOTAL progress so it's good for gens that are nearly done but not as much for gens that aren't that much repaired. But all in all it's an ok tier list that might give newer players a bit of guidance of where to start.

Forced Penance is a GREAT perk, I use this in many of my builds, and you don't know how many downs I get with it, and it helps with camping so much with would be rescuers, and is good for punishing survivors for body blocking. A tier in my opinion. I would even say s tier for bully squads.

personally i would say that darkness revealed is potentially one of the best perks on the killer side, it’s so simplistic yet so effective. super simple activation and a nice 30s cool-down, and plus you don’t realise how many times you’ll see auras. plusssss it’s 5s, it’s so good. my favourite aura reading perk on the killer side.

@@t4k3ntf bbq only works with hooks… incase you didn’t know. for newer players, getting hooks isn’t as easy as going to the shops and getting a bag of crisps is it? no. for newer players, darkness revealed is very friendly. so yes i have heard of bbq, but bbq does not compare to darkness revealed in any way shape or form. let’s look at the 2 shall we since you know your dbd clearly. bbq and chili: after hooking a survivor all players further than 40m of the hook are revealed for 4s darkness revealed: after opening a locker, any survivor within 8m of ANY locker will be revealed to you for 5s. this perk has a cool down of 30s. let’s look at which outweighs which. activation- darkness revealed can be activated an infinite amount of times if you look at it from a grand scheme of thing… bbq and chili can only be activated at most 11 times necessary, although you won’t need 11 times in most cases since the game is pretty much done at that point. point goes to darkness revealed 1-0 duration- bbq and chili last 4s darkness revealed last 5s 2-0 aura ability bbq and chili can only see people 40m away from the hook darkness revealed can see ANYONE from ANY range aslong as they are within 8m of a locker which actually a lot of the time survivors are within 8m of a hook as gens are usually this close to a locker 3-0 ability to obtain the perk bubba is a licensed DLC meaning people have to pay real money to get him which some people don’t have that all the time the dredge is free with iris whcih are in game currency, meaning you can get the perk fro free essentially no money required 4-0 would you like any other points? because i can make plenty more of why darkness revealed is better if you’d like

It's no coincidence that the killers with the best perks are the ones Behavior created to shut down survivor's broken power: Spirit, Clown, Legion and Plague(but also Onryo and Artist, created more on the aesthetic style) Even if some perks are not used they are good for example Bloodhound, Dragon's Grip, Mad Grit, Iron Maiden and Grim Embrace, these are incredibly underrated but great perks which can help so much in builds and enjoyment in the game with a lot of variety

As a brand new killer player, I've been getting a ton of value out of Lightborn. It's pretty funny getting extra downs on survivors going for flashlight saves, especially if you see multiple flashlight users in the pregame

I had a feeling I'd be here for this perk... aaaaand here we are. Coup is a good perk. It allows unexpected mindgames, it can give hits you normally wouldn't get, it's REALLY easy to play around if you have a damaging power (and moderately easy if you don't) and it is a very unpredictable perk on the survivor's side (unless swf). The only major downside is that you also loose a token if you do a small lunge (or if you miss, but I guess that is a skill side of the perk). I honestly will live and die by this perk and will defend it till the day I'm dead. didn't expect to be here for this perk, but here we are: Dragon's Grip. I get that it's not too great due to how it's cooldown works. that's a major flaw. but it really doesn't deserve only +1. It's information, pressure and slowdown. Info because you will know if a survivor touches the gen (and also which survivor), it is pressure because that survivor now has to be extra cautious for the next minute (meaning no risky unhooks, no body blocking, no comitting to gens, etc), and it is slowdown because, if the survivors don't wanna suffer the pressure from getting exposed while also getting their aura revealed, they have to let a gen regress for 30 whole seconds (which, combine that with overcharge and you have one deadly combo). another perk I don't agree with having +1, is Grim Embrace. It's not amazing by any means, but +1 is too little. It's slow-down and information at a moderately well-achievable condition, albeit only once per match. That's really all I'll have to say about it. Meanwhile I feel like Pentimento getting +4 is too high, due to it being basically useless outside of hex build. oof my Clown main heart hates to do this... but why the hell did caulro get +3 and pop get +4? both of them should be dropped AT LEAST 1 point. caulro does nothing against remotely experienced survivors, other than a possible slowdown to healing. meanwhile pop is %-current-progress removal. so the fact that the perk is nearly useless if 3 gens are at 25% each... yeah no.

Twins perks may be overdue for a change but you know what else does? Pyramid heads add ons due to the new prestige system confirming you get rarer add ons more frequently. His add ons are so mediocre, ESPECIALLY his iri add ons, like yeah, it’s funny for memey stuff (camping) but what else? mindgames(obsidian goblet) I’ve seen a lot more value out of iridescent seal of metatron which is hard to get, requiring more than one survivor to be tormented😭 His purple add ons are so bad, his green add ons are decent but they’re basically just perk tiers for his power 😭 Lemme know your thoughts

I have won games because of Forced Penance and because of Deathbound, but they are still really bad. Would be cool to see them amped up to some degree or even a more major degree, like if you injur someone while somebody that is injured is in your terror radius, the person that you injur becomes broken. Would be great on Doctor or with Dark Devotion. Something for Deathbound would be making it to where it works regardless of distance.

pyramid head’s perks are SO underrated it hurts. Forced Penance is a great perk, you don’t just get value out of it from SWFs who body block but also from protection hits in general. If you take into consideration how often survivors actually take hits it’s great for pressure. Trail of Torment is good for all the reasons you mentioned and Deathbound has given me so much value it’s insane. Given the current state of the game, survivors will be healing way more often which gives you more information with the perk equipped. I think that a lot of people don’t understand how to maximise pyramid head’s perks so they’ll just write them off as “unnecessarily complicated” when that isn’t the case at all.

In fact the real problem are the players who don't understand anything of perks, they just get the most strong ones like Save the best for last, pain resonance and BBQ. For example even Wraith has kinda good addons, it's just that none get the value, Predator is useful for chase killers and Spirit, Bloodhound is useful against overcome and perks who negate hemorrhage and survivors who want to be hide from the killer, and shadownborn is good to see along the map and put pressure on maps. I like azhymovs videos but he only said the preferences of everybody, it's so stupid...

Forced penance isn't bad though; against comp teams. When survivors go for body blocks, it's quite useful.

It’s bad. Body blocks are rare. even rarer comp teams are gonna steam roll you if you waste a slot on forced penance. It’s effect isn’t good either

Feel like Overwhelming Presence is getting overlooked. While it is a very simple perk it has helped me lengthen games on my Doctor, which I purposefully get more TRadius. Mixed with Franklin's Demise you can see those pesky items just vanish quickly!

I agree with this for the most part, but bruh you gotta change nemys. Literally everyone else is saying how good eruption is. It’s one of the best killer perks in the game. Lethal pursuer is good but not as good as it.

AZHYMOVS, hear me out. Ok you might disagree but I feel that grim embrace is actually good. It blocks all remaining gens for 40 seconds which can do a lot of things for you. Plus it just depends on the person who uses it, even a decent killer can make work of this perk. I hope you tell me how you feel about this😵‍💫

I think eruption is nemesis best perk. it gives a 10% penalty, makes the generator regress and makes survivors unable to do anything for 25 seconds. Personally after its buff I think its one of the strongest perks in the game.

I feel like Nemesis (Perk) is just missing a good combo perk to be really useful, right now all it can really be used for is more rancor moris and some dark devotion plays but most of the time it's better to just run a combo like Lethal + BBQ for much more vaule

Forced Penance should absolutely be reconsidered. One of the strongest things that Survivors can do to reduce pressure is take hits for their teammates. This is why Mettle of Man is also a genuinely solid perk. Forced Penance basically prevents Survivors from effectively body blocking.

I will make my case for Oppression. When you're chasing a really good survivor for a minute, it's nice to take a break and go hook someone easier to catch. I guarantee, any inexperienced player will miss their skill check for oppression when you use it and that will immediately tell you where the easy pickings are on the map. Simply go over and grab a guppie, by the time you hook them, Mr./Ms. Hero will have followed you where ever to try to save usually, so you go back to chasing them if you want while you wait for the remaining time on oppression. It takes 90 seconds to do a gen alone and 80 seconds for oppression's cooldown. That's at least 4 opportunities to find the easy pickings and to hook them, nothing makes a pro survivor sadder than getting all his noobie friends killed because he was too good at the game to bother trying to catch lol

I think Coup De Grace, is reallllly underrated. Running it on some killers like Ghostface, you can catch people off guard and end up getting some quick kills. Definitely not the best, but definitely not the worst either.
