All 27 Killers Ranked Least to Most Changed by the Entity! (Dead by Daylight)

Hey everyone, today we’re looking at Dead by Daylight’s killers, and considering how much the Entity changed them through its influence. This is considering how the Entity affected their minds, their lives, but also how it physically changed them. Let’s get into it.
Chapter 23 has been released on the PTB! It's Sadako Rising, a licensed chapter releasing in March of 2022. The new killer is named The Onryō, and the new survivor, Yoichi Asakawa! Sadako's gameplay is really fun, and Yoichi's perks seem interesting. I'm looking forward to their release.

It's actually cool that we've seen Evan fight against the Entity...in a cutscene from the Mobile version of the game, which is really weird considering its kind of a big deal since it actually shows a killer who isn't completely devoted to the Entity

You know what would make that even better, a survivor who actually knew Evan who gets brought in the realm. A survivor who isn’t scared of a killer would ruin the trial for the entity because the survivors were brought to give the entity power from pain, suffering and fear… someone who knew evan wouldn’t be afraid of him and would make the entity mad causing more and more survivors to understand what’s really going on. I feel like we really got a good story here, it just needs a slight nudge to push on foward as the Title “Dead by Daylight” is starting to sound like something about the entity and not the trials themselves.

@@Reformed-Mann Actually, the entity feeds off from both the killers and survivors. The entity eats from whoever and doesn't take sides and only intervenes when it gets something in return, which are emotions, more preferably the intense and negative ones. What would make the entity mad would be having everyone not show off emotions, which is very impossible to do. Even if it were to be successfully done, the entity would just discard the 'useless' ones and gather another batch of people in different universes.

Even though Hag suffers from terrible lore, it's still completely horrific what happened to her. So marred and mutilated to the point where she resembles a corpse. It must sting for Lisa to know the survivors call her Hag, when she's the exact opposite. A teenage girl who had dreams like them.

Pig also got a strength boost since she can pick up survivors with one arm. In the movies its said that she wouldn't be able to move or carry a person on her own which is how the police knew it was likely amanda wasn't the only one involved with the traps.

Not just a strength boost. She is completely brainwashed as well to ensure loyalty to both the Entity and Jigsaw. If it wasn't for that she would be completely unwilling to kill for them due to the traumatic experiences she suffered at the hands of Jigsaw in the first film

Wonder which killers see the survivors as they are vs who sees the survivors as their enemies in life (implied by Deathslinger’s lore when he’s pulled into the realm)? I get the feeling that the more greater the entity’s influence, the more likely that they don’t know who exactly they’re killing.

my guess is that the killers who, while happy with killing, don't otherwise have a reason to join the Entity, got an "eye" exam (i.e. Slinger as you said) For someone like Oni, while we may see a bunch of flashlight clicking bunny head Feng Mins, he probably sees torch wielding "impostor" samurai Killers who have no problem being there (Trickster, Myers, Ghostface) likely see exactly what we see Killers like Huntress and Nurse I feel are split, could be either the survivors look exactly as they are or WW1 soldiers/ dangerous asylum inmates, respectively.

In my opnion, the survivors deathslinger sees are actually there. It wouldnt be too out there for Henry to be taken moments before his death as the fog rolled in to the prison, as for oni, it could simply be said that the survivors have no honor, are deceitful and deceptive, ect.

idk about Myers being massively nerfed. He's probably THE least changed from the source material out of any licensed character. His superhuman strength wasn't much, if at all, beyond the feats of breaking pallets/walls in game, there's no reason to nerf his mid tier immortality (even canonically he shouldn't be able to recover from decapitation or something), and 'DS' was enough to stagger him in the film

Actually Michael has been physically changed a lot, as in the Halloween universe he's a thin 5'10 person, while here in the entity's realm he is a buff giant in comparison to what he was.

It doesn't help that there's 4 different timelines and he's been played by like 10 different people with different builds and masks. The original coveralls were green, not blue, but everybody remembers them as blue because of the blue night scenes.

carmina's lore is still comically tragic. even more by the thought of the entity ocherstrating all this. "an evil emotion spider god made my mom abandon me, my dad hate me, killed my brother, stopped me from killing myself only to cut my hands and tounge off and kill my friends in front of me."

I notice how say Nemesis is nerfed by a decent amount due to the lack of him changing into his larger forms. Nemesis only changes, and undergoes extreme mutation after his body has taken extensive damage to the point where it does anything it can to heal itself-typically at the cost of his intelligence, and humanoid form. In the realm of the Entity, I don't think that there is anything that the survivors could use to damage him to that state which could be why we don't see that in his power. I love your videos and the ideas behind them.

Haven't reached end but I'd say trapper is the most or close to most changed. If we're right, the entity started corruption ever since his mom and uncle were alive, making the father corrupted and then turning his eye on Evan instead. That and with all Evans resistance he now has hooks everywhere and I'm guessing that mask was his doing too. Blight is the most physically altered but he did that to himself with his greed, my votes on trapper. Awesome video mate GG

Something that confuses me is how the entity usually heals all injurys prior to entering the realm of just flat out bringing them back from the dead but for deathslinger he still has a broken leg and a cracked jaw, we know that the entity can heal permanent afflictions so why no deathslinger

i’d like to point out something about sally & her tome lore: it’s heavily implied that “the broken woman”, the character who’s partially responsible for convincing sally that eugenics is good & fun, is possessed by the entity. she’s stated to have mismatched eyes, one blue & one orange, which are colors we see prominently in dead by daylight. blue is typically used to represent the auris & the archives, while orange is greatly associated with the entity itself (for example: the hollowed blight, the colors produced by the entity when it manifests itself in the fog, the hexes, etc.). i don’t think the writers would add the detail about one of her eyes being orange unless it alluded to the entity in some way.

One thing about Evan. The bear traps and ahit embedded in his body have a theory behind them. It goes like this: Evan refused to cooperate with the entity in the beginning. And thus the entity would punish him by torturing him with the shit thats embedded in his body. Eventually Evan decided to cooperate to avoid anymore torture, and cooperates out of fear and pain rather then of his own will.

Hey Azhy! I have a nice video idea, should you consider it: How did the Entity convince each killer to obey? With some being quite easy like promising revenge for Spirit or making a deal with Myers but I would like to see what theories you could come up with for some killers Here are a few of my ideas: For doctor, the entity has promised an infinite ammount of subjects to test out his electricity on, as show when it also gave him a submarine full off test subjects For Wraith, I believe it just corrupted him untill a breaking point and he is now just doing anything he is told to, being a slave to the violence he tried to run away from For Clown it promised blood as well as safety from anyone chasing him For Oni, it maybe made him think the ones who killed him have now come to destroy his home Things like that

I’m pretty sure Doc’s power (Carter Spark / Shock Therapy, Static Blast) was nerfed so he wouldn’t obliterate the survivors. High volts of electricity can easily fry you, and it seems Entity nerfed it a bit so it wouldn’t smite them. (Shown in his mori, he is able to fry the survivors easily just by using his power near them, but this is only seen because Entity allowed him to.) I reckon his power was changed so it wouldn’t damage the survivors, only make them go crazy, or everyone would just die within the few minutes of them being in the trial with Doc.

Ehya Azhy, i had an idea for a video you could make if you don't mind and if you find it interesting. What if you make a video showing which survivors lore wise are the ones with higher capabilities, knowledge or Attitude that would increase the capability of the whole team survival trough a trial both strategically and emotionally? Then we have the last two additions, Dredge and Wesker. I would say that that Dredge hasn't changed a bit since it's just a monster spawned from negative emotions. Wesker, on the other hand, he's mostly changed. His speed has been reduced to two dashes and he can infect with ouroboros without suffering any mutation himself. However, in my opinion his intelligence has been reduced. He's chasing the survivors eternally thinking that he's making tests and advancing his global saturation thing while he's just being used by another master mind.

I believe that the nemesis only uses a tentacle on that arm in game anyway and the only reason he changed into doge form was because his body was being changed by everything that was happening for example being set on fire, being blown up 3 times, going in the water when he isn't meant to. So I don't think nemesis got as badly nerfed as you think in fact I don't think he really got changed all that much. I'm not sure though just going off what I remember from the games I could be wrong

The Pig (Amanda) should be considered mostly unchanged since the Entity not only gave her a Strength Boost and the Roar, but also completely brainwashed her to ensure loyalty to both it and Jigsaw. I want to note with Trickster I think the entity had a bit more to do with his lore. I have no hard proof of this of course but I am pretty certain that the entity was the one to start the fire and... nudged Ji-Woon into the right direction. Still not much to do with it of course but just my own theory.

You forgot to mention the fact that Trickster has yellow eyes. That must have came from the entity. I imagine the entity took slight control over his mind when his bandmates burned to death, in his lore he initially tries to help them, but then stops. The entity put an evil influence in Ji-Woon, he may have been egotistical, but im sure the entity gave him his murder fetish.
