He averaged like 6 points in a subpar team in the NBL. Racism is a real problem but I don't think it's the reason here. Kai should've played better if he wanted to be drafted. I know lots of Filipinos are disappointed that our own Kai Sotto didn't get drafted, but it's because scouts clearly are underwhelmed by his performance in the NBL. Also you can put it this way, he worked out for few teams. If there is a chance that he'll get drafted, it's pretty slim. I'd really love it if Kai really gets drafted too, but he had an underwhelming season.
