Notorious weapons: Blue Skies: ties for highest atk for boots nothing special. Orleanders: have the highest atk of a poison weapon. Shield Weapon: ties for highest atk sword and can block many projectiles facilitating a lot some bosses, including the 8 bit one. Encrypted Orchid: is the best thunder weapon. Keep in mind that thunder multi hit, but the monster here are so weak that they dying in one hit. Eu's Sword: ties for highest atk sword but no special effects Redbeast's Edge: ties for highest atk rapier but nothing special Prismatic Heart: the same as Mistilteinn the best club Deathbringer: despite having less atk than Eternal Blue because fire weapons multi hit it is the best Great sword. Scuptor's Chisel: ties for second highest atk lance and have petrify . Black Dragon's Ode: highest atk lance with a 12 atk difference from the second place. Renee's Requiem: best gun in the game. Ambivalence: best whip in the game.

the non #-bit coin "best" firearm, Adrasteia, has homing bullets, which sounds good on paper but said homing has the same amount of intelligence as Bloodbringer in terms of actually hitting enemies as expected Meanwhile (32-bit) Renee's Requiem doesn't have homing and works like every other firearm in the game while having the same amount of damage as Adrasteia.

@@hambor12 a little late but I thought the homing is really good on the gun, you just need to keep your distance then you could just spam the gun and it will hit every shots

Fun note about the Redbeast's Edge: It can actually reach full power in one of two ways. If you keep it as the 8-bit version, the power and size of the weapon scales with the percentage of souls you've obtained. With 100% of the souls collected, the 8-bit version reaches 52 power, the same as the 32-bit version of the weapon, thus effectively "breaking the curse" referenced in the description of the weapon. Unfortunately, the 16- and 32-bit versions of this weapon don't share this trait, and have a set power level. It's one of the few cases where the weapon can effectively be downgraded when going from 8- to 16-bit.

Got the Redbeast's edge, it's quite a fast weapon when you upgrade the rapier passive but the multi atk by mashing the button does a pretty solid amount of damage. Best weapon in the game for me is the Adrasteia gun, Renee's Requiem does barely any more dmg and Adrasteia has homing shots, with unlimited diamond bullets from the recycle hat, dmg is pretty nuts.

I picked up the sculpture chisel found the petrifying effect actually very effective so far. Plus I still get drops and shards.

For anyone having the same issue as me-- I bought the 32 bit coin but couldn't find the recipes to create the weapons. What you have to do I'd create the 8-bit and 16-bit version of the weapon you want first. Makes collecting all the weapons an pain, but if you buy the discount card and play often enough money is less daunting to earn and builds up fast.

The weapon is called "Encrypted Orchid" for a reason. According to the Bloodstained Wiki: The weapons' description, when translated from Hex, says "o cknpw grdlz zwkj pupseul xrkvt". Further decoding this text via the Vigenére Cipher (password: orchid) reveals the true description: "A light saber with immense power"

I've found a sort of exploit I think to get as many 8 bit coins as you want, either to resell or get all the weaps. So you get the Alchemic Bounty shard, and level it up as much as you can to increase chance of making more than one thing, save, and craft an 8-bit weapon. So long as it says you crafted the weapon x2, you can use Alkahest to dismantle one of the weapons you crafted, get the coin back and repeat the process. Unfortunately so far I've only managed to get this to work with standard 8 bit weapons, 16 bit weapons don't seem to work, as I couldn't dismantle my 16 bit orchid.

Is not an exploit. You can do this after the Waterway. If you equip Alchemic Bounty with both maxes level/rank on a short cut equip with luck and CHEFS APRON one can get up to 4 items by crafting. You can use the alkahest to break it down and remake. To get tons of money you need to make a shortcut with Money is power and sell it. So back and forth with shortcuts and going to the Twin Towers to get alkahest from the poltergeist. I can make atleast 1 million in 15 minutes by making and selling the weapon that I can sell for most money. Is not an exploit because by the time one can do this one can actually beat the game in good ending.

@@Odijis thanks man, ive been looking around and there's a way to get 5 items crafted with one set of ingredients by maxing out the Alchemic Bounty so it is a Skill Shard, and then equipping it so it effectively doubles the effect, now instead of maxing out at 3x crafted items you can get 5 at once. Definitely could come in handy for farming certain rare items (like gold or dark matter)

@@SintelMK when you're standing in front of her a thought bubble comes up with a picture of what she wants, and her quest description describes it, just look for it in the prepare menu. If you're having a hard time seeing the thought bubble, try using convex glasses

@@Kazz-Kargonus you have to first craft the 8 bit version of the weapon you want, then the 16 bit and after that it will let you craft the 32 bit version of that weapon, it does not open up all the 16 and 32 bit weapons at least for me.

Ppl between the Orchid aka Lightsaber reference to Star Wars and Killer Instinct Orchid and Deathbringer as far as the coin weapons but I think the Dragon pike and Blue boots are nice choices. As far as everything else Blue Rose and Rhava weapon aka Strider Hiryu or Crissingrim weapon that drops from Killer Barbers is the best

The '-bit weapons' are a fun novelty, that are great to use early to mid game, but there are superior weapons that can be crafted late game. I'm partial to the Gand Izayoi katana; it's a beast once you've mastered the various katana techniques.

Yeah, the Encrypted Orchid. It's description is literally double encrypted, you have to translate it from Alphanumeric Hexadecimal to get the next part that you have to run through another translation(I can't remember what that one was called), which leaves the description to say something along the lines of "a blade of light" or something like that. It also has the special power to summon bolts of purple lightning from the sky if you input QCF+Attack
