If she had used the nitrokick, staff (take a look at her X-Ray in MK9), or maybe throwing her razorrang instead of stabbing with it, I could've seen it (or combined) suits her better. Erron using gun at least indeed fits his character. Yeah it is boring, but fit his better. Hence I can agree on the ranking.

@@alamo134 i mean again, I personally think all the fatal blows are bad, boring, and way too long. There’s maybe one that I find to be alright in terms of pacing, creativity, and animation. I’m just saying they’re one in the same. At least Jade is using the weapon in a unique way. And a big part of way is you can’t really get away with having all the blood with a blunt object and NRS was obsessed with having every character be gushers. What could she have done? Use the staff to stab her opponent? That’s dumb and her multiple fatalities where she does just that is proof that it’s dumb. Erron in comparison is just doing the same thing he always does. I know it’s hard to rank these because they’re all bad but Erron’s is boring which is arguably a bigger crime. He just shoots to start up…then shoots again the same way…then he throws a gun which somehow bounces off the opponent’s face which all kinds of looney tune goofiness and then he shoots some coins that ricochets into the eyes. Real innovated. And it’s basically just Deadshot’s super. Gun characters are always the worst. I don’t see why Erron gets a pass and ranked significantly higher than Jade when they’re both super dull. Jade’s at least has a cleaner flow and used more of her abilities starting with a slam with the staff, slicing with the glaive while using her rare teleport ability, and topped off with a nitro kick

Top 5 1. Spawn- Had me grinning Ear to Ear first time I saw it. He is my Main though 2. Liu Kang- The first action is fast and then the Dragon coming up is awesome 3. Jax- It may be a lot of punches but the way the camera is in particular the second action where they barf up blood always looked cool. 4. Scorpion- It may have been one of the first we saw and he does go heavy on the eyes but the chains sound cool and the sword slashes in it. 5. Robocop- The fact he rams you to start it pulls the gun out fast and then picks you up and takes the spike and his entire hand through your body and let's ED-209 finish you off. But like you said all of them are great in their own right.

Shang Tsung was my favorite too. It would have been too much, but I wish they could have worked Smoke, Ermac, and Reptile in as well. Cassie Cage has been my least favorite, but it relates more to gameplay. The reverse back always catches me.

Hi Nick, As normal I put a like on this video because I knew how high the quality would be. In the end my decision was vindicated. I was really glad to see my main in Mortal Kombat 11 Skarlet rate so high. For Mortal Kombat 12 I would love to see breakers from Mortal Kombat 4 make a return. Have them more cinematic and with the correct character reactions and the awesome sound design Netherrealm are known for we would have a real treat. Keep up the good work my friend.

You can definitely tell which Fatal Blows the NRS team cared about more and spent more time on compared to others. Jade, Nightwolf, and Sub-Zero’s (among others) feel meh. Jax, Jacqui, and Shang’s (among others) feel inspired and creative. Jax’s is my favorite FB, but great list overall, Nick.

The thing I like the most here is the respect you show to D'vorah by substituting her with Spawn every now and then. Unlike some other annoying youtubers, who perpetuate the TOTALLY undeserved hatred to this amazing character. Maybe next time include Robocop with his black blood as well? Regarding the list itself, it is quite similar to my own in many instances, with the exception of Jax, that guy is sooo low in my list :D. Great job as always!

I really wish they went with Kitanas concept fatal blow, it looked way more flashy and cool, she cuts the opponent up, throws her fans and snaps her fingers (like the girl boss she is) and it cuts the opponent again Plus I also think that her fatal blow was a projectile start up. Oh and for the question about what we we preferred for Mk11 x-rays or fatal blows, I actually think it would've been cool of there was a mix of both, for example in Mortal Kombat Mobile, Mk11 kabals fatal blow is technically the same as Mk11s fatal blow but the final slow mo it actually changes to an X-ray showing the opponents skeleton as the hook sword goes through the jaw. So yeah 😅

I have only played 11 from the MK mainline games, but from what i have seen from previous game's supers, this game is definitely more cinematic and style oriented vibe compared to the gritty brutal nature of previous games. One of my favorites is undoubtedly Shang Tsung's super (maybe just cause i love the klassic ninjas) but if you let me choose the worst Fatal Blow, it's D'Vorah for me, her's is short and simple like Baraka, however Baraka's to me fits his brutal nature quite well with his blades and war banner usage, but D'Vorah does nothing special for hers to be that unique for me.

Aww, I don't think Jade should be at the bottom at all. I like her fatal blow, especially when she stabs them in the head lol. It's definitely better than the other low ones on the list IMO. I like Sub Zero's and how he uses that ice ax. Damn, Kano's was just viciously cruel! That should of been much higher. I liked Scorpion's and Kotal Kahn's. That big ass sword Kotal uses makes me cringe every time *winces* Ha, I love me some Prince so keep the Prince puns coming when it comes to Rain! Loved Joker's too. Liu Kang's is amazing! That dragon is beautiful. Can always look forward to Mileena having a savagely good move. Loved Jax, Shao Kahn, and Shang Shung's fatal blows, they deserve to be in the top 5. I don't even remember most of these watching this list now, I guess the X Rays stuck with me more but some of these are crazy and creative. So there goes my answer, I prefer X Rays over fatal blows so I would want those in MK12 instead. Great list!

Scorpion's should be at last, for me. It's really poorly executed. You can see by the zooms and shots that everytime he pushes the kunais, they go deeper, but in the next shot, they're still in just the tip. This whole lot of pushing and with such sharp kunais, they should have gone through the head already. I know this game isn't supposed to be logical, but this sequence is just bad.
