All 4 completed Iowa Class Battleships in Formation on June 7, 1954

USS Iowa (BB-61), USS New Jersey (BB-62), USS Missouri (BB-63), and USS Wisconsin (BB-64) in formation in the one and only time all four completed Iowa class battleships were together on June 7, 1954.

I would love to see this video remastered. Hint USN. I would probably be one of the first persons to buy such a DVD contain that footage and footage containing other battleships all remastered possibley with music provided by the navy band.

Too bad that you will never see this again. Even though all four are still here, I don't think that they're able to sail like this under their own power anymore. But I sure would love to see it happen. Can you imagine seeing them all sail by?? I would think that it was gloriously awesome. I miss seeing BB's roam the seas.

I think the navy has told the non-profits that care for the Iowa's that they can't touch the engines. Unless the navy by some miracle recommissions them, they aren't going anywhere under their own power.

Not that anyone really cares, but the ships closest to the camara is _Iowa_ then _Wisconsin_ _Missouri_ and furthest out is _New Jersey_
