Very happy you are well 😄 I stopped playing Pokémon before diamond and Pearl were released (due to financial reasons) and started to get back into the games a couple of years ago. This will be the first time I play these games so whatever Pokémon are in there I’m definitely hyped!

Nice you see you back! Though I personally don’t mind about the Pokédex, except for the disappearance of Sylveon, that stings. The only thing I mind is that it may be regular battles? If that’s the case, I’m pretty disappointed. I was really expecting Mega Evolution to be back, especially since it was in Let’s go, as well as it being in ORAS.

I’m surprised people are disappointed in there not being any pokemon past gen 4 when it was basically confirmed to us ahead of time that these would be faithful remakes with new features. As somebody that hasn’t play gen 4 before, I honestly don’t know what the originals were like, but I’m at least glad the whole gens 1-4 roster is here

Because every single pre-Switch Pokémon remake allowed you to use all of the current Pokémon. FireRed and LeafGreen allowed you to use every Gen 2 and 3 Pokémon. HeartGold and SoulSilver allowed you to use every Gen 3 and 4 Pokémon. And OmegaRuby and AlphaSapphire allowed you to use everything up to and including Gen 6. Only Let's Go and BDSP deliberately omitted the newer 'mons. That's not faithful. That's just lazy.

As someone who never really had the experience of transporting pokemon from say LeafGreen to Ultra Sun (though I play Ultra Sun and love it--shout out to Alola, ma home region) so the national pokedex being cut didn't really affect me much. I can't wait to play this I'm so happy this is awesome

Mew (Pokeball Plus Bonus), Manaphy (Get BSDP early), Phione (Breed Manaphy with Ditto), Jirachi (Have Sh/Sw save data for BDSP), and Genesect (Have it on a previous game and transfer it. Same with Meloetta.)

For Deoxys, there's Pokemon GO, you can transfer bajillion Defense Deoxys (since in HOME, it'll recognized as Normal Deoxys) from Pokemon GO to BDSP since Deoxys was on raids most of the time.
