I was there at the Carabaoe cup final against Liverpool. It was one hell of a game! Best 0-0 you'll have ever seen. I almost lost my voice day. The atmosphere at Wembley mixed with Liverpool fans is something. The adrenaline you feel as a fan is just can't describe it. Was really upset that we lost, felt like we got robbed..

Best manager Chelsea have had aside from Mourinho 04-07. He may not have won the league, but not many managers will, whilst the Guardiola juggernaut is rolling. Only two managers have been able to pull off winning a league title against Pep’s City. Those two were Conte’s Chelsea in 16/17 and Klopp in 19/20. Scary thing is, you can argue that both those seasons were extenuating circumstances. 16/17 being Pep’s first season in charge. Then 19/20 was the pandemic season.

The highlights annoyingly didn’t include it but Leicester used a handball to end up in that winning goal scoring situation and it wasn’t disallowed - which makes the questionable Chelsea offside disallowed goal even more annoying. Plus, the league cup final also had a hugely questionable disallowed offside for Lukaka. So - in my mind, I consider those two finals as robbed and Tuchel really should have had a League Cup & FA Cup to add to his Champions League, Super Cup and Club World Cup collection.

Football is bloody cruel. Tuchel's defensive set ups against us (LFC) in those finals were very good. He always managed to force us wide in the danger zone and negate Salah and Mane in the middle. In attack, they also really exploited some gaps there. In all honesty, I've criticised VAR for some marginal offsides before, and I will again, some of the offsides against Chelsea were pedantic bullshit in that League Cup final. No crowing here, I do not like Chelsea at all, but respect is due. They really could have won them both with a fraction more luck.
