To be honest I can’t lie, Sam B’s pistol part of the golden weapons pack is amazing! In terms of legendary I love the krakatoa, before I got that, the wild style axe is an amazing find in the metro

The mutator is actually really fragile before it... well, mutates. Also, they all spawn in the same place, so if you memorize where it is, you can kock it down before it gets up. I also snagged the trophy for killing a mutator before it mutates.

​@munnumkhalid skills are just game seasoning. Just weapons are enough if you have ok mods and are landing crits. Peggy build + machine pistol w rare/superior fire for status, high caliber, and precision fire. The assault shotgun is great as an eletric w high caliber. Raven is op, an underated endgame rifle. Fire axe, okami, machete, knuckles, sledge, mattock, pickaxe, moon blades, officer sword, wakinashi, deer knife, mace. I'm sure there's others i missed, but all these can make amazing builds. Try to have different types for different enemies. The weapon will for 1 role over another. For example, the machine pistol using crit builds, is great for mutated mutators. Dumping the mag into it's ribcage mouth will kill or almost kill it. Yet the same mac sucks against single zoms, or a spread out group. Thats where the peggy and raven come in. I ran 4 guns 4 meelee but primarily used meelee

Emma’s Wrath, Krakatoa and Body Count are all my personal favorites. Party Starter’s were the last one I unlocked, but holy moly they are indeed super fun as well. I thought all 8 weapons were fun in their own ways, but I stand by Emma’s Wrath being my #1 favorite. Sam B knows his stuff.

As a completionist, I am nearly finishing up my first playthrough with Ryan. I liked to finish as many side quests and unlockables (fuse rooms, lockboxes) before moving on with the next story mission. Now that I finished up the story and the HAUS DLC, I have acquired all but one legendary weapon. I never used guides or tip vids for Dead Island 2, because I loved exploring the game, but now that I'm finishing things up, I'm looking for what I may have missed - and this video made me realize I totally ignored the bathroom in the mall to get the Party Starter! I will have to do that tonight to have the full collection!

I have used everyone of these, to my suprise.. The best gun in game, ended up being "Peggy," a non legendary gun, from francis sinclairs 1st side quest.. U must do the influencer side mission first at the goat pen, then get to venice beach.. U can then go back to emma's and grab it! It's my go to, killing all mutated varients in 1-6 shots! The ak is good, but not as powerful, and eats ammo.. But the peggy shoots heavy rounds, however i use a purple rifle like tge first gun u get with sam! Much better.. Emma's Wrath is the best lengedary weapon tho, in my opinion! I tend to use impactor wrenches and fire axes between harder enemies..

@@maorismurfnz the quest with the influencer on the pier can also be used as an xp/weapons/item farm. just dont do the task (cutting heads off ect) and they spawn infinetly, theres a work bench right outside the quest you can reach before the timer runs out, rinse and repeat. i did this for the sake of leveling up other characters to a decent enough level for online.

honestly the key to truly appreciating Dead Island 2 is to take your time dumped a good amount of time within it (I started getting the Superior weapons after dumping 20hrs into it) Side quest and hidden treasures have a nice pay off usually! put in 42-43hrs in 1st play through then beat the main story with only (4-6 quest left over) The people who don’t understand DI2 are just very thick it’s a top tier release it’s very much like a Russian doll there are plenty of surprises within the game if you take the time and look! My only real c/o was the ending (Hopefully the Season Pass delivers a proper ending that feels earned) but, there are some interesting new side quest you can only do after you beat the main story (One side quest felt like a love letter to Night of the Creeps) it’s actually very tragic and telling about the social media generation! regardless it’s a must play for all Horror fans and gamers that want something very adult & brutal

When I finished the game I said let me try and do a side quest, and of all the side quests available I randomly chose the bel air side quest without knowing what I was getting into, my goodness it was so hard, I had no ammo left and had to restart a couple of times. Ive done both of the quests required to get the Beacon of hope but the dude aint there Edit: I did the final Amanda Style side quest (The YT girl) & after completing it the quest opened up & I was able to get it so if anyone else is wondering why the Beacon of hope quest isn’t showing up for them finish all of Amandas quests.

Concerning Bodycount. I'm currently 20/24 on the main missions. I've done a side mission for the W.O. in the tower. She won't give me the Diaries of the Dead mission. All she does is mumble about the filling system and trading. I'm currently level 22. Any help? "Secret stash of crayons", as a Marine, this had me chuckling. 😆

I'm at level 24 and the only Legendary weapon I have found so far is the knife and whilst it is good I don't like that it only uses stab motion rather than swinging it like a machete or sword so it's sitting in the storage container at the moment. Looking forward to getting the others, have just had the callback to Monarch Studios for the Terror At Sound Stage 7 quest. Off topic, I could not complete the stinking bag side quest because I could not get the bag to throw over the stairs to return to the upper floor of the mall. I tried every angle and button combination I could think of, XB1, any ideas?

I threw it over pretty easily. U can get it up to the stairs, then just kill all the zombies by standing on the stairway barricade. After they are dead just aim high and throw.

Well… I loved „days gone“… on the secluded few… or I like zombie games which are a bit „more“ realistic in generel. If I shoot once in the head then it should be dead. And in Dead Island 2 it feels like you are just touching them with the weapons. Also shooting zombies in their heads. You brought a few shots to bring them down. If would have been cooler if they had made the dead of the zombies more realistic and had more zombies appear

If you try to 100% the game then you wont miss any. Most of them are found in the lost and found quests, but some can be found in side quests.

I found out a good way to get money in dead island 2,put all your good weapons in your storage,go to the unclaimed property in the storage and grab abunch of those bad weapons that u might not want,go to a trader and sell all those weapons,I did this a couple days after I finished the story and I got like 200k,also the mutator in the it not your fault mission spawns at the same location,if you have Peggy or really almost any gun other then a shotgun it easy to kill the mutator before he mutates

If you guys are scared when getting the lega pistol... Dont worry.. It isn't that hard.. The butcher spanws first well for me. And I killed him after that I ran around and I a screamer and a mutant spawned but before doing the quest.. If you wana finish it whit ez get the bodycount it's the THE BEST GUN I THE GAME I killed the mutant so fast and finished off the screamer so it is recommended to get the gun to make the quest more ez and faster

"Missing: Steve" in the STEAM version is still bugged in 2024. I killed the "hero" too early and now he doesn't spawn anymore. There is no point in closing the game and opening it again, it no longer appears for me. In his place a zombie appears who still shows the dialogue to lure him to Steve, but when he gets there he doesn't continue with the mission. Fuck this shit.

One stupid thing about games that i never understood and refuse to accept is , why the fuck do devs allow us to find the most fucking awesome weapons in the game only after finishing the main story? Like, how much more do you think im gonna play your game after im finished with your 20 hour story? In games like skyrim, rdr, fallout and (now) starfield , i will stay around for a lot more yes but the content is also more than 100 hours. But what can this kind of game offer me after its done, other than pointlessly killing zombies? Give me the opportunity to find the weapons whenever i want so i can enjoy the story and the cool weapons at the same tim.

The party starter got bugged. When I first got it the game decided crashed and when I check my inventory it's not there I even go back to the car the back was open so I didn't get the legendary weapon

i can’t get the knife bc i had killed Dante but i didn’t do the quest but then i join a public and they were at the end of the quest and completed it but i didn’t get the knife but the game thinks i completed it

My favorite legendary weapons are Krakatoa and Big Shot. I don’t use big shot a lot, but when I do it always cleans house. Kind of an “oh shit” weapon. I think all guns are, for me anyway. I don’t use guns much if I can avoid it. Just feels cheaty.
