The last tip was the one i was looking for what to do with the mountain of broken guns i picked up off my enemies so i just take the ammunition and drop the broken guns not worth repairing and selling thanks

on the collar side.m I got the one blood sucker and then 4-6 spawning in duo (from the vilage?) all ammo and nades... at least later I got that you can "easily" leap to the left of their charge to avoid being hit (think dont work with duo, cuz the roar)

The MP5 bug seems to be to do with the other upgrades in that slot. If you get the rail and then upgrade other parts, it removes the rail. So its best to do the scope rail as the last upgrade.

Tips for bloodsuckers: just run. There is no good reason to waste all your ammo on it when there’s no reward for it. In fact unless it’s human just run. Humans can be a walking cache, everything else is just an ammo dump.

14:20 Side note: If you use the wheel to switch ammo types you will still have the old ammo in your weapon until you reload. The weapon wheel can be used to change ammo types if you want to shoot a regular mag but you want the next mag to be AP (Armor Piercing). You don't need to switch ammo types either if you are about out of ammo of one type just reload when you are out and the game will switch the rounds automatically.

I'll be honest, I usually find these "things I wish I knew" videos really helpful, but not this one. I didn't learn literally a single thing from this and I'm not someone who's watched a lot of vids or guides. Maybe an hour of someone on Twitch. Most of this stuff is either common sense or stuff any gamer worth their weight in salt knows when and how to find out. Extremely disappointing waste of 18 minutes. Oh no my guy missed the best feature by hovering the mouse over a weapon in the inventory wheel/when you loot and press G it unloads the weapon no need to click on it whatsoever!

Unload weapon hotkey is: "G" Faster than right-click menu ;) Also: Mutants can't climb ! So if YOU can get to higher ground by jumping on top of something or climbing a ladder and still see them hiding, they are easy prey.

Mutants and low tier bandits are the reason why I invested in a nice shotgun. Plus, they're cheap to repair.

Just keep a shotgun and bloodsuckers or mutants are easy. I keep mine on buckshot because it’s easier to find. Bloodsuckers are easy to hear coming and track because they snarl and make noise when they charge you. Never leave with more than 3 or 4 mags worth of ammo per each gun you have (shotguns keep around 10 refills worth), meds are worth a lot so save those even if you’re over encumbered. Drowned has more damage than Lummox’s rifle just add a suppressor and a scope. Always have your scanner and pistol out when traveling. When you run out of stamina, ads with your pistol and it counts as slow walking but you’re still going close to walking speed and recharges your stamina faster never have more than 10 bandages and medkits, 2 energy drinks, and 2 Canned food items when setting out from a shelter, you’ll find plenty along the way and it saves weight

Sleeping doesn't go to daytime, it progresses in-game time by 8 hours.

I love the Commander Outfit, but if you pay attention, when he puts on the poncho, you'll notice he'll shrug and then smile. It's the only outfit he'll do that

just to clarify, the echo detector only lights up when it detects an artifact. also the echo detector does not detect all anomolies so the warning beep is unreliable later in the game. hope this is helpful

Thanks for the video, but you are wrong about the basic detector. It isn't the one warning you about anomalies. The one that warns you about anomalies is just automatic and has nothing to do with artifacts. You have that even if you unequip the artifact detector and in the beginning, before you ever get a scanner/detector. If the artifact detector is blinking, then there is ALWAYS an artifact nearby, but you need to equip it and hold it in your hands, before you know. It doesn't even make a sound before you do that. Usually it is in an anomaly field (a gathering of many anomalies in a single location.). Artifacts are not there where the detector is blinking really fast. You won't be able to even see the artifacts (except in a few special cases), unless you are standing almost on top of them and the light is no longer blinking, but is completely steady blue. In the video you were just lucky that the artifact jumped to your location, when it switched places.

I bought the rail upgrade for my 74u and it did the same thing. Doesn't appear. Definitely bugged

Hold on thier is actually fast travel in this game and I missed it what the heck I'm already put of the trash heap and was dreading dredging back to camp constantly. At one point I had a moon come up saying I needed to sleep I was no where near a bed I could actually sleep in and my character kept acting like he was going to pass out but it only happened once and I just finished the third main area so far. Aldo for me most icons on main map seem to bug out and I can't see where I'm supposed to go like in the poppy field where I'm supposed to find all the bodies. Because I didn't want to pay so that didn't seem to complete till I found the hole I was looking for with the item I needed for the side quest.

There's a bug right now where you can fix broken weapons and sell them and make a bit of profit. Google it as it has been a lifesaver especially considering how much repairing armor costs.....

I do wish it would show if a weapon was broken before you had to pick it up!

45.acp ammo weapons and semi auto shotguns are the eay to make blood suckers die , but officoally from the older games and some mods, the best to take out most mutants

Talk about realism and immersion but after a long mission, painful mutant fights, blood, sweat and tears you can't just simply chug 2 bottles of vodka, call it a day and use the bed to sleep, you need to eat first 😂

Not sure if its a bug but you need to have a weapon equipped to add the attachment to it at which point you can just drag the attachment onto the weapon slot.

The price of upgrades and the trader is dependant on your standing with the given faction

you can sell broken weapons, there's a specific trader that takes them.

fml I did not know the first attachment slot had a "case" to protect from radiation. I can equip more artefacts now xD

How about gun oil you can apply every so often to help the durability of gun and maybe even clean it?

I got to keep, everything from the tutorial by using the safe.... maybe save first and reload if you didn't.... I've heard others say they didn't get everything back... but I've also heard people say they did, like me.... worth a shot

You can click a weapon and press g unload it on PC it faster than right click.

I actually installed the mod which reduces mutants hp by half, they still take a good bit a ammo to kill but definitely not what it used to take. Makes fighting them so much better

The stealth/silencers in this game are pretty wonky for me. I head shot a guy with a silenced pistol and the whole base was altered. Another time, I head shot a guy with the AKM, no silencer or anything, and nobody else was alerted. I also wish I could view the blueprints I have somehow. I've gotten a number of them, don't know which I have, or what they are even for.

btw the shotgun you're using doesn't look like the one in the poppy field cache (which is an over/under, 2 shot?). where did that pump shottie come from?

Nice tips, I already got alot of Nexus mods that bring the game balance to a more fair level. Its about having fun, not a soulless grind :) Also the game tries to do some hand- holding with a tutorial at the start but quickly defaults into a Stalker that makes you google everything as ususal :)

Fun Fact about the stealth camp achievement: I got mine because I used a grenade on a swarm of rats in one of the sewer stash locations in the Lesser Zone. I just stood at the top of the ladder and dropped it down the concrete manhole lol - absolutely a buggy mess but I love this game lol

Sleeping just fast forwards 6 hours, not morning. And your light was on during stealth, although sometimes it does feel like they can see you no matter what. Good vid tho, i didn't know about the left most artifact slot not giving you radiation.
