Yes and also use the elemental pop augment that you trigger ammo mods when zombies hit you. Also Combine this with tesla storm field upgrade and you cant die. And you can also use mutant injection

NO ONE SEEMS TO KNOW THIS!! You can actually use the block/parry to put armor plates on and skip the animation to do so. VERY useful for if you're camping in a corner with the sword, just hold down the block button and put armor plates on and you'll notice your plates going up without any animation for it. Let me know if you use this because no one seems to know this!

Little tip for the fire sword, don’t point it at the feet of the zombie in the front of the hoard when you do the ultimate, it’s not the mustang n sally lol, keep it chest high with the hoard and you will clear the whole hoard no matter how many zombies

7:20 you keep aiming the fire sword special at the ground for some reason. The 3 fire balls it shoots out can pierce through an entire horde of zombies and clear a round with one special use. I feel like it was just not used properly in your demonstration

10:00 Psst, little tip for the boss: you can parry his main attacks for no damage! On solo you’ll probably need Expresso Espresso to get swings in between parries, but on coop you can act as a permanent distraction so your teammates don’t get targeted and solely focus fire!😊

Interestingly enough, I think the light sword can revive you as well. I had a game where I got cornered by an amalgam and a bunch of zombies. I had barely any health left, I used the ultimate in the sword, it killed the zombies, but the amalgam kept hitting me, and after downing, I almost instantly got back up. I don’t have the dying wish augment on quick revive, and it did not consume my self revive. I would love to see you test this out

On top of blocking normal attacks, when you parry parasites projectiles, the sword shoots the projectile straight back to them, or any other zombies. It’s pretty cool and it’s a one shot kill, as far as I tested it out!

I learned that if you have the sword out and the amalgam grabs you, parrying blocks the damage that would otherwise be done. You’ll hear an audio cue if you did it right

You can revive yourself with the Light sword if you switch you melee cycle thingy in your settings. Go down, take out the sword, ultimate and BOOM, revived !

I just finished a game at round 111 using the light sword and the electric incantation. It was crazy! Lol I used vampiric extraction and so you can camp in a corner and get health and armor back constantly. There's a few other augments that help and after round 90, I pretty much used a mutant injector every round.

Ammo mods affect the sword special effects. 👍🏻 Also use vampiric not espresso.

Vampiric makes using the light sword safe but is very very slow to get kills. I would really only recommend that for newer players. If you can stay alive with espresso, you will get twice the number of kills at the same time. I have used both augments and tried all the camping strategies people have made, but they are just too slow to be worth it, IMO.

Pairing the light sword with the MM perk that gives health back on melee hit makes you unkillable. I was able to use it exclusively for the Sticks and Stones dark ops and up to round 50 without downs.

Everyone is so convinced that the fast attack augment on mele macchiato is the best, that few people realize by using vampiric instead you're totally invincible with the light sword even on round 100. But of course void sword always makes #1 because it's cooler looking.

You should test these augments with the light sword in the meantime because there's more to it than just using vampiric. Vampiric Extractionto (Mele Macchiato) replinish health Reactive Armor (Jug) to stun enemies long enough to replinish health and armor Supercharged (Speed Cola) to charge Frenzy Guard faster Fast Pitcher (Speed Cola) to use incantations/kazmir devices faster Fetid Upgrade (Vulture Aid) use with the speed cola augment to charge Frenzy Guard even faster Picky Easter (Vulure Aid)...needs no explanation Frenzy Guard is your best friend but you don't really need it until past round 55. Vulture aid and speed cola will give you a charge for every round. You'll have enough salvage by round 70-80 to spam mutant injections the rest of the game, but you really don't have to. And you'll almost always have kazmirs ready.

What augments? The one that gives you health back for getting kills with MM? That strategy doesn't really work past round 100+. It also is very, very slow for high rounds. I don't recommend it to anyone unless they are really struggling to get around 100 without it.

@ it’s a combination of many specific augments and electric incantation for Amalgams. 100+ is easy enough without using mutant injections. Mustang and Sally for the Bug rounds.

​@matthew7950 what I've noticed is the AATs are mostly just... meh. They BARELY trigger, with the exception of cryofreeze. Like, cryofreeze with min cooldown augments absolutely triggers aaaaaaall the time, but everything else barely does. It makes everything feel very underwhelming to be honest.

No it's from the light sword my friend 😊. Whenever u activate the special/ ultimate attack or ability it gives u full armor and health and then every hit or kill with it gives u armor back! The getting health back with any melee attack/ hit that's an augment for melee macchiato. Sorry for the long read but I do hope this helps my friend 😊

As a 33 year old married man who only plays zombies in cod (when I have time to game lol) I disagree with him I personally find the lightning sword to be very good I guess it depends how you use it and your preferences because I melt amalgamations very easily with the lightning sword and I dominate with it I’ve made it to round 145 with just that sword and I never made it that far with any of the others. I personally find the order to be lighting, Raven, fire then lion as the order I personally find the light sword the worst as it abilities last the least amount of time had no range and only works if your cornered and need a escape. But truthfully the sword debate is just personal preference as not everyone will always agree and that’s fine

You're using the Stag sword ult wrong, don't use it like dark flare, the beam spawns additional projectiles that home in when it hits zombies and the additional projectiles one shot in my experience.

1 sword - use ultimate to kill most zombies and specials but not elites 1 sword - makes you invincible I don’t understand this man’s logic on which is the better sword honestly

The light sword does not make you invincible forever. It's good for simi high rounds but once you start getting the really fast zombies the only sword that will be usable at all is the void sword. It's the reason all of the people on round 500+ are using it currently.

​@@LegoUnlockedare you not aware that reactive armor + vampiric on melee macchiato literally makes you invulnerable? By the time you reach your last plate (mind you lvl 3 plates have the same amount of DR on all 3 of the plates), you can swing ONE single time and every time a zombies hits you, you'll stun everything around you for 1.5 seconds. That's more than enough to get 2-3 more swings in and help yourself fully. You can basically afk with the light sword, were it not for the parasites and AFK restrictions

Dark swords alright but light sword is far better it can carry you to round 100 with the right augments played to round 100 twice without spamming a rocket launcher at the ground was awesome.
