Will and Rowan aren't just working together on that card, they actually share a spark in the lore. If either of them planeswalks, the other comes with. Wrenn doens't pilot treefolk, just trees. The Six card from MH3 should have been a plant to be accurate to the lore. Six, Seven, and Realmbreaker are just trees.

I mean, if u count Ugin's age using Sarkhan's timeline, then yes, Sorin is the oldest living planeswalker but from Ugin's perspective he is clearly the oldest now that Nicol Bolas is dead again. Cuz fun fact, their birth is the oldest recorded event in the known MtG multiverse

This video was great but left me wanting more! I love hearing about the lore but what you've done here is already impressive. You could easily do a whole series going in deep on one set of planeswalkers, like all the red ones, canon v. non-canon ones, or something like an analysis of every Jace/Chandra card along with the lore of the character. Really enjoyed this one! Thanks for making it.

Nahiri is the single worst villain in the story. And in a story with Yawgmoth, Nicol Bolas, and Elesh Norn…that’s damning. She knows what she does is wrong-she’s just so focused on vengeance she doesn’t care.

I've only ever opened 3 packs of cards and got Sorin Solemn Visitor. Never played beyond like two games with a pre done starter deck but I still remember Sorin and he will always havea place in my heart.

As far as I can tell she was born on cayenne, taken prisoner when the phyrexians invaded, her spark ignited and she went to theros, THEN she went to Alara. But if you have sources that say otherwise I'd love to take a look

Unless I'm listening to this post-edit, Ashiok is referred to by They/Them pronouns 3 out if the 4 times pronouns are used, with 'She' used to explain their power set. Perhaps a slip-up, but I don't get he feeling it was intentional.

i've had corrections to she, they AND he, however upon actually looking into it further it seems as though their identify has somewhat shifted over time. Begining as "it", then he in a final sentence of a story, then MaRo described them as neither male nor female, etc etc With the most recent mention of it being in 2019 where MaRo clarified that Ashiok may lack gender entirely, and uses no pronouns at all. So i'd say it's fair for people to be confused by this lol
