I have a serious problem with my audio recording. My metronome records and I cannot record multiple audio tracks because they output on all the channels for some reason. I’m so frustrated. I have all the same settings you have and mine is not working as smoothly and I don’t know what I’m doing wrong or not doing😭

Hey nice vid! In terms of the last part which you recorded and then comp, do you have to pay attention to how close you are from the mic for when you record the takes, and also how loud you sing it? Otherwise wouldn’t the comping sound clearly “cut” in various parts of the clip? Just asking, because I want to use comping. Never done it. I just sing it again, but a very lengthy process that gets you tired 😴

as far as audio latency is concerned, I have a problem. I've adjusted "sample" settings and so forth and I have tried to optimize my PC laptop to record vocals and add guitar to my Ableton Live Lite 11 sessions. I'm using an M-audio solo audio interface. If I upgrade my laptop to 16 gigs of RAM from the 8 gigs I have now, will that eliminate the latency problem??

@@LNADoesAudioStuff i meant like on the fly while live reording.. its just that sometimes there is no free hand to actually stop the recording.. so it would be nice if a loop bounces off after e.g. 8 bars and starts playing automatically thereafter. :)

To make creating tracks faster and easier is if you hold control you can drag the songs and they will align in tracks automatically 👍🏽😁

First of all, great video! I've got a challenging request, but I actually want to learn how to do this, so here's my question....How do you perform and record a Skrillex style recording like Bangarang using Push 2 and start to mix and master the results in Live 10? Could you use maybe just an eight to sixteen measure performance that's in the ballpark stylistically, and talk a little bit about how to commit the Push 2 performance to the timeline in the arrangement view? If I could see how the result looks in the arrangement view in Live 10, that would be very satisfying. Love your tutorials!

Thank you so much for your video. Sorry, I have a problem I can not figure out. I am using windows 10 with Ableton 11 lite. My interface is ZED 10 fx (2 input Stereo). I have followed your settings, but I still have a little problem... In the Master track I have the Cue set to channel 1 and the Master main to channel 2. When I record a mic audio to Track 1 and then I go down and record another mic audio on track 2. When I solo playback only track 2, I can hear 50 % volume of track 1 has bled into the recording of track 2. I have tried many different variations on settings, but track 1 continues to bleed into the recording of track 2. So frustrating, I am about to give up. I hope someone can help me out. Thank you all in advance. 😒

If you wish to only record audio, leave master track settings as they are originally. If you only have to outputs on your interface, you will not hear it back in stereo.
