So much information delivered and made look easy to grasp, the best and most intuitive person on KZbin when it comes to all the probabilities which ableton has to offer! A big thumbs up for maintaining my interest as usually I get bored and can’t finish tutorials! Keep doing what you’re doing! Love it so much so, I’m going to buy your course 😊❤️

Why so complicated? If you click with the mouse on something e.g. Macro1 it is highlighted (text = white) in the Matrix and the line automated selected (marked = lighter grey). You do not need to search for it manual ;-) Colours depends on the Ableton Theme you are using.

I know the makey makey, but why use a banana if you’re using a conductive strip of copper? That’s pretty sketchy, along with the idea that if this worked as advertised, it could be useful
@LNADoesAudioStuff3 күн бұрын
lol it was a brain fart. Also I did not earn money from this just had some fun. :D Realised later that I should had just stick the cable in side the banana. :D Oh well.

This is so cool… in a limited demo, unusable for much though, nothing live for sure. Damn I wish one of these with the switchable faceplates worked for half a shit.

And also, making videos is so much fun. I'm using old public domain videos to create videos. If you're shy, it's a good alternative. Or just want to do something different. The simplest of videos are still very time consuming and a lot of work. I personally love the challenge and process.

I love your workflow and all your VODs. When mastering recorded mixes (where all the tracks are pre-mastered for the most part, would you recommend skipping ozone or some of the dynamic compressions that come with it? Since most of that is already taken care of, it is more about bringing the gain up rather than making any impressions on the audio to where the DJ has already made most of these dynamic choices. Thank you for sharing and caring!

This is so helpful! Thank you for making this. I learned how to produce music on my own mostly through trial and error, and I assumed that I could do the same with mastering, but I have quickly learned that with mastering it's so easy to get carried away, and suddenly I'm ending up in a place where my tracks are constricted and unpleasant after years of liking how they sounded. This is a great place to start (and a great place for me to learn subtlety for mastering lol) Thanks again!

Happy for you to receive these great speakers - in regards to your low end problem in the room - it looks like you have quite a lot of elements in the room to « treat » the room sound, when a room is fairly small and you add absorption most of that will just swallow high and mid frequencies leaving you with kind of a boomy low range problem. In this case sometimes removing some absorbers can actually improve the overall listening environment - and maybe instead place thick bass traps in the corners, this will do wonders in a small room!
@IronxIx12 күн бұрын
This is simple in description but with all the volume automation I've done I find the task of getting each track to only peak within -6 to -12 dB to be daunting. I guess future tracks will have to vary less in their volumes.
@IronxIx12 күн бұрын
I have to say, this is great. I am now going through and getting rid of the volume automation envelopes, bringing down the gain on each sample on a track I'm working on, to eliminate the visible clipping, using vox compression properly, then gain staging properly, then setting levels... And now what I thought was a good-sounding track is sounding 100% better. You taught me a lot today. Thank you Liina!
