It certainly would be nice if Chanel made their customers aware of the different widths of their shoes. Of course if most people find a shoe feeling too big or too tight they’re going to think to change the size instead of knowing enough that they’ve purchased the wrong width. The more “As” the more narrow the shoes wide is. Super narrow would be “AA” Narrow would be “A”, then regular (more commercial fit) fit is “B” then wide fit is “C” ;)

I am sure by now after two years, they stretched out a little, but if you ever have this issue again, put a shoe stretcher in it(they work for sandals as well),and crank it a teeny bit or take it to a shoe cobbler to do it. I am a male and wear a 41C in Chanel shoes. I put a shoe stretcher in them for two days and they fit perfectly. The trick is just to crank it little by little not a lot all at once. ❤️

@@melikeetoo yes! I had a pair of patent leather gucci loafers I did to as well. The trick is just to do it little by little. Don’t crank it really tight right away. Turn until it’s pretty tight and then after very few hours crank a little more. 💙

Chanel is so sneaky with their lettering! Like why not put the letter on every pair to avoid confusion and help consumers. I think a lot of European brands do this. I know ferragamo does AA, A, B, C.

Thank you so much. I really appreciate that. Some Sales associates don’t actually know this, so they may challenge you when you mention it. It’s a good idea to call the 800 number and verify the style was offered in both wide and regular. I was told this wasn’t true once by someone with 20 years experience and they didn’t know, when I told them I contacted the 800 number and verified it was offered in wide sizing. Such good sizing info. I have that in between foot that is too wide for a lot of sandals but then when I try the wide version my feet aren’t wide enough. I have never purchased luxury sandals because I know they run narrow so it is good to know that they might make a c version

Omg thank you I purchase the Chanel sling back shoe . Im a size 7 also wide feet purchase in 7 1/2. Bad mistake had some insoles in . Still no luck had to sell them wear them 3 times . They are beautiful shoes. Now they are so expensive maybe I might give it a try in 7 c. Thank you again for the info

Chanel indeed has a wider version of their shoes, but I don’t know if it applies to all the models. What I also have noticed is that their shoes run a half size smaller as well, which is very difficult to estimate for buying any model online. I really need to try them on before buying.

I’m fairly certain the make small quantities for both narrow and wide feet of all there shoes. Some retailers that carry Chanel, ie. Neimans, Saks, Bloomingdales, aren’t even aware of the offerings. I find the 800 a good resource for sizing availability. Material and style definitely affect sizing. I genuinely agree with you, trying on in person is always best. Have a beautiful weekend❣️

I've a pair of tweed espadrille , it rubs against the back of my ankle and I have bleeding heels waiting to recover. I also have problem wearing Chanel ballerina flats, it rubs my back ankle. I start to doubt if Chanel shoes are comfortable to wear.

I believe Chanel also makes narrow sizes, those like the wide size are harder to locate, but when you like a style consider calling the 800 and asking if they are available in a narrow A size. It’s disappointing when they aren’t comfortable.

When I started buying luxury, I assumed US 8 equalled 38EUR but the shoe always ran snug, based on my experience and sizing charts if you are a US Size 8 your correct size would be a 39EUR but each design house shoe size varies, so it’s important to try them on, because your foot shape can be a factor as well. With Chanel I’m a true 39C as I have wide feet. Hope that helps.
