Here is some information for you In PPD and Toluene if you are courious as why i always mention if the hair color contains these chemicals. This is just genaric information you should do your own research on the Matter to better inform yourself!
Paraphenylenediamine also known as PPD -
Para-phenylenediamine, or a chemically related -diamine is an ingredient used in virtually all oxidative hair dyes, both store-bought and used in salons. The oxidative dye process is formulated to quickly penetrate and stain the hair strand any color, including lightening hair by removing the pigment from the core of the hair and dyeing over it. Brunette and black hair dyes contain higher concentrations of PPD, though all colors can contain PPD.
Symptoms of allergic reactions to para-phenylenediamine may include itching, swelling, hives, blistering, depigmentation, and permanent scarring; the reaction is a delayed hypersensitivity reaction, often occurring 3 to 30 days after application, so they are frequently misdiagnosed.
Toluene 2,5 Diaminotoluene-
2,5-Diaminotoluene is an organic compound with the formula C₆H₃(NH₂)₂CH₃. It is one isomer of six with this formula. 2,5-Diaminotoluene is a colorless crystalline solid, although commercial samples are often colored owing to air oxidation. It is commonly used in hair coloring.
Toluene-2,5-Diamine, Toluene-2,5-Diamine Sulfate and Toluene-3,4-Diamine are used in permanent hair coloring systems where color is produced inside the hair fiber
This is accomplished through careful formulation of the product so that the ingredients interact in a highly controlled process.
Toluene-2,6-Diisocyanate may cause a skin allergy. If allergy develops, very low future exposure can cause itching and a skin rash. * Toluene-2,6-Diisocyanate may cause an asthma-like allergy. Future exposure can cause asthma attacks with shortness of breath, wheezing, cough, and/or chest tightness.

Can you try Garnier Olia in 1.0 black? What has been your ultimate favorite dye overall out of all that you tried? I saw you tried Revlon Colorsilk in 12 natural blue black and everyone seems to rave about that dye!

So I would but Olia and garnier are probably the only colors I can’t use because the formulas are soooo thick and I have an old house and it clogs everything sink and shower when washing it out. Pulse that brand isn’t worth the money if it doesn’t stick to grey/white or bleached hair it literally washes right out as soon as you color it! If you want a color to last and is my ALL time favorite drugstore brand is Schwarzkopf Ultime and keratin color they are hands down the best they last for a month or longer depending on how often you wash your hair. I do like the revlon but it irrigates me so bad but the color pay off for the price is insane I love it but don’t love the irritation but if Schwarzkopf was out of stock then that would be my next in line for a drugstore brand! For Sally’s I have 3 I like that all equally meet my standards age beautiful, ions inspired by nature, and one n only Aragon oil those are my go to’s!

I have very dry on the brink of damaged hair. What is the best black hair dye brand that will cause minimal damage in ur opinion and color not fade off the ends.

When my hair was really super damaged I used the Schwarzkopf keratin color it has the same concept as the all about curls but I never used that with damaged hair so I don’t know if it helps or not. The keratin color helps soooo much! It didn’t make may hair feel anymore damaged then it already was. I highly recommend using a hair mask after you wash the color out and keep it on for as long as you possibly can!

If you can find Schwarzkopf gliss for super damaged hair in the black container use that if not I would use olaplex if you can afford the mask and you can sleep in that one I’ve done it many times it’s helped. I also use L’Oréal elvive in the black container for sever damage repair hair mask, I like that one!

I came across your videos about a year ago and ive enjoyed watching them and learning as i like to keep my hair dark as well but it has gotten so dry recently as i thought i wanted to go red but yea not so much lol black is my color. Im 40 and over color change lol. Thank you so much for the advice. One last thing. Right now my hair is flooded with color and the color isnt sticking. Would it be ok to dona color remover and add a vial of the ion color booster from sallys and then dye it black. The red i used was a semi permanent and the black i tried to put over it isnt sticking. Its all washing out.

Haha I’ve been there, red is so hard to get rid of they used to make a black color fillers that you add to your color and it would help with the color to help stick but they don’t make it anymore. You honestly stripped the color out so it’s gonna take a bit of coloring on top of coloring to get it back. I would just use a clarifying shampoo a few times but that can really dry your hair out so I would use a hair mask after every wash
