I think it's not just that he's bald but that he's a hairdresser and hairdressers make their money off of cutting, styling, and dying hair. It's not in their best interest to promote or learn about long hair. They want customers who come back frequently for trims etc. Furthermore, he recommends expensive products and a one size fits all approach. Hair is different from person to person and not everyone can afford salon products.
@DJ-cb9yx5 ай бұрын
@@AutumnFalls89 No one has to buy anything he recommends or manufactures but the comments I was addressing suggested we shouldn't listen to him because he's bald and therefore can't know about hair. If we wanted we could use the principles of the trinity routine he's recommending using cheaper products that suit our own hair. That's what I've been doing and it's working for me. Obviously it might not work for everyone. When I eventually manage to get my hair to a length I'm happy with, I'll still need it trimmed and shaped regularly.

I hit a break through about a month ago in my hair health and length and suddenly people all around are noticing and i, myself am astounded at the shine and length retention. Thank you SO MUCH for your help. My hair is a HUGE part of my feminine identity and I’ve wanted thigh length princess hair since I was about 3 years old. Would you PLEASE do a video for black women's hair? I need your helllllllp! This was a great video as usual, though. Edit: Whoa! Some people ran with this comment in a direction that I did NOT expect. Most of you shared very helpful information about caring for my type of hair, and I appreciate that deeply. Others, however, criticized me for asking a white man for tips on black hair as if a professional of his caliber is incapable of possibly EVER understanding black hair. That's like saying male gynecologists can't possibly do their job well. I also love how you folks ASSUMED that he has absolutely no experience with black hair. You cannot possibly know that for sure. I follow MANY black women who talk in depth about how to care for my type of hair. I also like to entertain diverse opinions. I admire his expertise. I enjoy his videos. I would love to hear what he has to say specifically about my type of hair. The fact that so many of you went hardcore on the racial aspect is really disappointing. The "I need your helllp" part was just a joke, and I'm kind of astonished that some people took that as genuine whining on my part. Look past the surface sometimes. Geez. You're not REQUIRED to tear comments apart and find something wrong with them. If that's your way, fine, but that shit where you try to draw hard racial lines when it's unnecessary to do so is absurd. It's also kind of sad. That's the polar opposite of what we should strive for if we truly want to live in a country devoid of racism. Don't be part of the problem! Engage in some serious introspection immediately! I am also fully aware that most, if not all, of his guidance on haircare can be applied to any type of hair. That...was...not...the...point. I want to hear what he would say if his focus was specifically on black hair types. Perhaps he'd share nothing he hasn't already shared in other videos. Perhaps he'd share a TON of information that he's never shared before. I am curious. CURIOUS. That does not mean I am too dense to understand what's going on. The conclusions that people jump to based on comments never cease to amaze me. Can we please just allow grown a$$ people to be harmlessly curious if they want to be? Again, to those of you who were cool: Thank you! You mentioned some black creators I am unfamiliar with in addition to some I already follow. You were also generous with your advice. I love to see it, and I wish I saw more of THIS and much, much less unnecessarily critical negativity. One can dream, right?

you should test whether it’s the product that’s helping you or not. you’ve been applying serum but that’s not everything, so you should really try only applying serum to see if it does make a difference by itself, and then try only eating healthy food to see if it makes more or less difference than the serum. either way it’s quite simple: healthy diet, exercise, going out, meditating… all of that makes much more difference than it sounds, so it might be the eggs you’re eating that’s making the game change.

I just had to leave a note for you. I saw you on Glam Girl Gabi, and at 72 years young, you have changed my knowledge of hair and hair care. Who’s says you can’t teach old dogs…etc🤪! I have now binged a bunch of your videos and am going shopping today for products you highly recommend. THANK YOU so much for your plain speaking, informative and funny videos. I am so excited to change the condition of my thin & thinning hair. Your explanation of “Is your hair growing” was a DUH… aha moment for me. I have learned more with you than in my decades of talking with stylists. Again, a heartfelt thank you and you have a convert and subscriber forever now. Take good care…we need you❤😊

Thank you for your videos. I'm 64 years old and the last stylist I went to literally fried my hair. I've had one trim since but following your recommendations has been outstanding! My hair is soft, shiny and getting healthier.

Oh my god, thank you! You‘ve literally saved my hair. I‘ve been following all your tips since March this year and I‘ve just realized today that my hair has grown quite a lot. Before that I really thought that my long hair era (being influenced by birth control) has gone by and it‘s just not in my genetics to have healthy long hair anymore. But now it‘s finally back to the length that I always found the most flattering on me thanks to your trinity routine. It hasn’t been this long since over 3 years. Will keep it that way! 😊

My hair was torched by a salon when I got my roots bleached, so it’s not always the ends that are the most damaged. My hair was destroyed. I followed these routines for a year and while she is still broken and damaged, my hair grew like a weed. I only got one tiny trim during this and the splits didn’t really “travel” like everyone says they do. They will eventually do damage, but when you wash once per week and avoid blow drying, it grows. Bleached my hair my entire life and she never grew well. Got my hair fried off and have more breakage than ever, yet this method allowed my worst hair ever to grow the longest and fastest. Density has improved. Love this no bs channel.

I have been slowly teaching myself most of what I have forgotten, but without people like you posting these kinds of videos, I am not sure I would have ever remembered any of this. My daughter and I had just cut off all of our hair to donate to locks for love the day before my accident and I have cried myself to sleep most nights because I just couldn't remember everything I used to know to help her hair grow. Now I remember.

A wonderful tip from my experience Olive oil + rosemary branches + garlic + ( clou de girofle in french I don't know what it called in english you can ask Google) Leave it like 2 weeks to macerate in away from light Then put it 1 hour before shower and do a scalp massage If the odor is strong because of the garlic after washing apply rose water .

His points: To grow hair long, you need to keep it hydrated to prevent it from breaking. 1. Don’t trim for at least 6 months. Maintain it instead otherwise you go back to the same length. 2. Use a hair mask once a week to penetrate moisture to the inside part of your hair. 3. After towel drying washed hair, apply leave in conditioner all around to protect roots AND ends. 4. When hair is fully dry/ and after styling, add hair oil focusing on ends to prevent breakage. Roots are not needed. Repeat daily even if it’s not a wash day. 5. If you heat style, make sure to start this routine off with a 2 week break from heat first. Once you start again, make sure you are using heat protectant, as well as giving your hair a 3 day break between heat styling. Extra note: pick products you use based off of your hair type. He has a hair type quiz as well as a list of recommended products. For the leave in conditioner, he recommended a light water based one. For the oil, he likes olaplex bonding oil. It’s lightweight and lasts a while if you use it right.
