I can't post a link, for then my comment will be removed, so: go to the link in the description, take off the last part and you will arrive at the shop, then you will find the big fader at a price of £0.00. Or just go the shop (link also in the description).

When a tutorial does the exact opposite of the title, which is explaining IN DETAIL, instead of compressing things 😍👍 And yes, some links, maybe by copy/paste are incorrect, the merch and splice ones too. Surely only a test, if we are clever enough to find the targets anyway 😁

You are amazing teacher, just bingewatching your channel. But the compression thing has my head in. Even though, I understand all the theory of it, most of the time I just fail to hear any difference aside from volume. In the video you were like "oh, I like this setting" but I hear the same thing :( I have a good musical ear when it comes to notes, but the compression situation drives me crazy. I feel retarded.

The idea of a "glue compressor" is just silly. A compressor is a compressor. Any of them can give you the colored glue sound for the most part, unless it's just junk or intended to be super clean. The "glue compressor" thing is from old industry dudes who continue to believe myths.

That is one disrespectful comment! You don't like this video? The internet is full of other ones you could watch.
@Desuetus3 жыл бұрын
@@odqin I agree, it is a little disrespectful, and so is the idea that you can publish a video with sloppy work and the internet (a.k.a a lot of people) will just accept you are too lazy to polish it up. That's like someone burping in a restaurant. Oh you don't like it ? Then go to a different restaurant, there's plenty on the street. Not really how society works. Signaling poor behaviour is perfectly allright, no need to be mannered with the unmannered. They "no comprende".

Your comment is absolutely unnecessary, disrespectful and misogynistic. Shame on you.

Damn dude! it's one thing to criticize and another to say you don't like ONE thing and force it into the narrative of your horrible worldview
@Desuetus3 жыл бұрын
@@els1f There are tens of ableton tutorials that explain this concept better and more succintly. This video is redundant and more than that it's negligent in it's presentation. I wouldn't have left a comment if this wasn't promoted on a facebook page. Why would you make a video on a subject that is expertly covered on youtube, do it longer and worse and then also promote it, showing that you're kind of proud of your subpar work. I came here from clicking on that link, I got annoyed by this girls attitude and left a negative comment to acount for that. My worldview ? I don't think I have a worldview to be honest.
