Marriage in same gotra means the relationship is incest. The children born from such Marriage has very high chances of disease like hemophilia, etc. The worst example is the last king of russia had Marriage with his cousin that disturbed the whole country. Same blood means limited genetic pool, and very low chances of replacing non healthy genes from healthy ones. So, incest Marriage can have bad effect on the couple, their children and can also result in conflicts. I don't want to say anything bad about any religion but there are many communities and religion that allows incest Marriage. These include muslims, some hindus from south india,perhaps jewish. Most non hindus make fun of hindus of being backward but they don't consider the scientific reasons of this practice. I request all people who do love marriage to record and maintain your family tree properly, because when your children will get married, your family tree will help you to prevent any incest Marriage. संपिड विवाह मतलब खुद के पुर्बजो के परिवार मे विवाह करना । जैसे आपके 4 गौत्र 1= नानी का 2 दादी का 3= लड़की या लड़के की मां का 4 लड़की या लड़के का खुद का गौत्र मिलने पर विवाह नहीं किया जाता है क्योंकि एक जैसे गोत्र मतलब भाई बहन 😅

सपिंड शब्द का अर्थ है ऐसा स्थान जो एक ही परिवार के लोगों के द्वारा बसाया गया हों और कालांतर में परिवार की आबादी बढ़ती गई रिश्ते दूर होते गए.... फिर इसी परिवार की किसी नवीनतम पीढ़ी में जन्मे बच्चे ( जो अब रिश्ते में बहुत दूर के भाई बहन लगते है क्योंकि कई पीढ़ियों पूर्व उनका परिवार एक ही था) आपस में प्रेम करके ( विशेष रूप से प्रेम ही होगा क्योंकि परिवार तो इस प्रकार की शादी की अनुमत देगा नही क्योंकि दोनों एक ही परिवार के है) न्यायालय में या किसी अन्य प्रकार से विवाह कर लेते है। इसी विवाह को सपिंड विवाह कहते है... इसके अन्य रूप निम्न है 1. लड़के की माता और लड़की का गोत्र समान हो। 2. लड़के की दादी या नानी का गोत्र लड़की का गोत्र समान हो। 3. लड़के और लड़की समान गोत्र की हो (जिनका वर्णन ऊपर दिया है) 4. लड़के का और लड़की की मां का गोत्र समान हो। 5. लड़के का और लड़की की दादी या नानी का गोत्र समान हो।
