We had to find an azalea that could 1) handle falling snow from overhead conifers, 2) deer resistant 3) handle our dry conditions at 7,000ft in the sierras and the only real luck we have had is Baden Baden - does anyone know of a similar variety that could handle these tough conditions? We would especially like a later blooming azalea.
