+TheMakeupChair When my husband tragically died June 4, 2014 I shut down completely. I locked my front door and secluded myself from the world. I couldn't watch tv or listen to music, bc everything was a reminder of him. I was going out of my mind with grief. I got on KZbin to find something, anything, to just get out of my own thoughts and to try to find something that didn't remind me of Tony. I randomly came across makeup tutorials, which I had never known were even in existence. It was something that I could watch that didn't make me cry, so I binged watched. I spent 27 days locked in my home, getting lost in the beauty world...and getting out of the reality of his suicide. The videos began to create within me an intense interest to learn more and more. Eventually I had to get back to the real world, but here I am 2 years later with a new passion in life...becoming a makeup artist. (Comment cont'd below)....

Ma’am start a series with each building blocks of eye makeup like -1)brushes,2)parts of eye 3)prep 4)different kinds of shade-matte &shimmer-5)strokes 6)errors to avoid -in the order of progression towards getting it perfectly right.

This is so helpful! I knew one or two of these tips but had no idea brushes make this much of a difference! When I would get my makeup done at makeup counters I loved the look but was never able to recreate them- now I know why. My face brushes aren't quite right for what I'm trying to achieve. I definitely need help in choosing the right foundation brush! Would love a nice brush set. Rather clueless when it comes to choosing and buying my brushes so they are all randomly bought because I thought I'd just buy what seems to be the hype at the time. 😱🌺

Mostly I like to have my foundation full coverage because I have acne, blemishes, scars and dark circles. Of course I use concealer to cover those things, but it makes me feel more confident like that. Also with bronzed look and natural lipstick.

A personalized set with your help? That sounds way too good to be true!!!! I love your make up style, reminds me of Lisa Eldridge, enhancing beauty and in every video I learn something new. The make up mistakes....I guess you saved me from a couple ;-) Thank you!!! P.S. Question: how do you store double ended make up brushes? I have one very practical but for the life of me I haven't figured out a way to store it properly without damaging the bristles. That's the only reason I don't buy any double ended makeup brushes.

Thanks again for lots of useful information about make up brushes. I didn't know that my foundation brush should be chosen according to my age, and skin type! I struggle with wing liner, so the slanted eyeliner brush may help. I am also shopping for a fan brush for highlighter. Just checked and I'm already following you on all my social media accounts (except Twitter, I'm not on that). Really informative video, I have the F03 brush but it's perhaps not really doing it for me and foundation. Also just got the E40/E41 brush with the Master Series 1 palette so can't wait to try it! Fingers crossed I could get some expert advise on how to choose makeup brushes!

thank you for the useful tips! i always use bb cushion foundation, and i apply with the puff that it came along with, and concealer blend it with my finger sometimes use beauty blender to blend it all out. i dont really do eyeshadow but when i did i use my finger to apply with, and a small little angle brush to my eyebrow, and some mascara and lipstick or tinted lip blam. i dont really do makeup everyday just because when i did it kinda look so bad and messy.. so most of the time i keep it natural with abit concealer on any blemishes that i have. my dream is to be a makeup artist like you! but i know it could be just a dream lol. love you, from Malaysia❤️

Hello gorgeous...I've been subscribing your channel since your blush brush tutorial for each different face shape. Now I've done subscribing your social media. In my whole life I just use these three brushes: flat brush (for foundation and powder), angled brush (for eyeliner and brow), and pointed brush (for blush and face contour).

Blank Canvas is my all time favourite brand, have their contour palettes eye shadow palettes, the F22 and the E25/26 💜 Havent made a purchase from them in ages as I just use my staple products which are what ive mentioned above, would love to be treated to some new brushes by them as they are amazing!! 😍😍 wouldnt be a bad ending to my Leaving Cert either 😉
