For mastering in Ableton this is great. A 3 band transient designer is cool, adding the one knob compression/expander makes it all that sweeter

I'm still somewhat perplexed as to how this differs from the Multiband Dynamics effect. I mean, that does compression and expansion as well, correct? I think that Amazing Noises is phenomenal as a M4L dev, so I imagine there's more to this than I'm getting, but I'm not sure what exactly it offers...

(I'm not sure about this so correct me if i'm wrong) Multiband dynamic is a compressor This one is a transient shaper Compressors act upon a threshold level and a ratio, while transient shapers use transient detection The practical difference is that transient shapers will detect which is the transient and which is the tail regardless of the level of the signal. In a compressor, it normally only acts after the signal reaches a certain level (threshold)
