You explain these steps in such a clear and understandable way. This really helps a service tech like me who has to jump in and out of 4 different control platforms, with Metasys being one of the major ones. Fantastic job! I'll keep tuning in.

Thank you for the tutorial. On the subject is there a way to look at the trends over several days. Example: The trend for Monday, the one for Tuesday, ..Wednesday.
@controlshero3 жыл бұрын
Hi Grevy, thank you for watching my videos! Yes you can look at trends for past days only if, the trends on the points are setup to store them for enough time in NAE, or if you have a Metasys Server and the trends are being automatically transferred to the server. Now, to view past trends, just select one or more points, click on View Menu > Trend Viewer. Once the new screen shows up, click on the little green book icon on top, and specify the date range that you wish.

The one thing you didn't explain is the reason I searched for and found your video, I wanted to know what the "differential" setting means in in the interlock definition table? For example, if I set something to trigger when the outside air temp is over 70F and set the differential to 5, would that turn true when the temperature reaches 70F and remain true until it drops back down to 65F? Thank you for the great video!
@controlsheroАй бұрын
Hi Benjamin! Great question! Ok, if you use a "Greater than", then if your OA-T goes above 70 (not equal), your interlock will be true. Then as soon as it hits 65 it will be False. However, if you use a "Greater than or Equal", your OA-T must be equal or greater than 70 to be True (obviously!), but if you hit 65, it will remain True. In this case, for the interlock to go to False, your OA-T should be less than 65, like 64.99 or lower. By the way, I'm hosting a Metasys class this Thursday, send me a message at my website controlshero.com/contact and I'll send you an invitation. I just started an exciting new project where I am creating blog posts and video content about BAS. Thanks!

Thank you so much for your sharing video. My BMS system using DX-9100 and NAE55, I would like upgrade to the new version but I don't know the name suitable for my systems and what the tool for programming?
@controlshero Жыл бұрын
Hi @phamvuchanel5859, thanks for your comment. Are you trying to upgrade both your controller and NAE to newer systems? Like an FEC/CGM controller and a SNE? You can send me more details at my website www.controlshero.com, under Contact me. Thanks!

Great stuff, I have issues with connecting / commissioning /up loading downloading with CCT thru a MAP tool into a CVM03050 keep getting error "Controller not in Valid State after I after made it to a N2 VAV
@controlshero Жыл бұрын
Hi there! Thanks for your comment. About your issue, I think, when you convert a controller into N2, you need to plug your MAP tool on the other port (FC Bus instead of the SA Bus I think). I used to do that with the BTVCT. Give a try and let know if it works.
@aircontrolserviceshotsprin1707 Жыл бұрын
@@controlshero thanks I found out my blue tooth was disabled and that why my CCT failed as soon as I tried to connect. I thought it was only on the WIFI network but it must use some of the BT ports too. Thanks keep on making these awesome vides you are such a great teacher!!

Can you make a video on how to use the key to override the dx 9100? Awesome video. I am new to DDC. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE.

Hello! Thanks for your comments. That is going to be a little difficult. I haven't seen a DX-9100 in years. If bump into one I could try doing a tutorial on that.

Dennis, thank you for your comment, it makes me happy to hear that my videos are helpful! JCI calls or used to call the NAE trunks FCB, which stands for "FC Bus" or "Field Controller Bus".

Hi Jody, I believe the only way you can get the Metasys software is by contacting Johnson Controls directly, and it's not a free software.
