Great video. I liked that you took the time to show how to create each point!

Great video. Do you have one like this but based on runtime?

Hi there! Thanks for your comment. No, I don't have a lead-lag video based on runtime. I will put it on my to-do-list! Thanks!

Where’s the CCT part of video?
@controlshero2 жыл бұрын
Hi Jager, I don't have the CCT part. My idea of this video was to show how to do a weekly lead/lag in Metasys LCT, and I was assuming that the CCT application was already done, and just needed its Lead/Lag Network Input to be commanded from the NAE. Thanks!

@@controlshero what if we don't have that point in CCT? what is it? I have 3 individual plants so 3 different programs so I would just have the system enable point for each plant? but I don't follow how that relates to the P-Lead point. thank you!

Hi@@jessicaowen-mt1rw Thank for your comment! The idea of this video was to show how to create a lead/lag for 3 system in Metasys, assuming that you already have a CCT application with a lead/lag analog point, where its values were 1, 2, and 3. Or if you wanted to command 3 BOs (e.g. 3 pumps start/stop points) and have each BO being commanded by each Interlock. But in many cases you could have a multistate point, and this would not apply unless you do an extra modification in Metasys or CCT. But this would be more advanced. Well, if you want to lead/lag 3 plants it can be done as well, but you may need to add some modifications as I mentioned. If you want to send me screenshots or more information I can help, you can go to my website www.controlshero.com and send me a message in the contact form. From there, it is easier to communicate via email.

@@controlshero Thank you! I ended up writing to the system enable point and it worked. This video was perfect for what I needed. I think the only downfall was the trigger having to be on then off to work. That was confusing for the facility operators to understand / remember. But we figured a work around for now. Now I'm trying to figure out how to LCT to do a failure rotation. And then staging so a second plant can come on as needed. I tried some interlocks but then it turned on all 3 plants. I'll check out your website.
