Doctor, where to find proper format/sequence of writing applications?
@MumtazKehАй бұрын
I don’t think there is a particular format mentioned by GMC. As long it’s clear and formal, it’s all right. How you make yours unique is a bit tricky.

Hello, doc as you said my CV looks so damn empty, however I’m doing a clinical attachment at the moment, despite that how else I can make my cv look bit strong, is it ok to ask for Audits in my trust ???? What else I can do please to strengthen my cv?? Very soon I will receive my registration 😃😃
@MumtazKeh7 ай бұрын
Being a part of audits would be the best and quickest way to add points to your CV. Try to do some teaching as well and get feedback forms signed, will help you get into training later. If you’re planning to go for medicine posts, ALS training and MRCP are the most attractive for recruiters. All the best!

Honestly there arent 10 job adv even popping up these days Max ive seen is 6 or 7 on a good day And this is after ive refreshed every 5- 10 minutes

I agree. Non training jobs are more available when during August when many non- trainees move to training programs. So you should get a decent amount of job adverts around march.

Hey doc, I'm currently working on a research in India. but it will not be finished by the time I need a job. Can I put it in my CV as "In progress". Would it add any points?
@MumtazKeh2 ай бұрын
If you are talking about non-training interviews, there's no harm in mentioning it in your CV. However, I don't think they consider it a research unless and until that is in press/ published. If you're applying for training jobs straight away, mention only the research papers that are published/ in press. Good luck!

For non training jobs (just after passing plab 2) how can we do audits, if we are in india
@MumtazKeh Жыл бұрын
Yes you can. There are few private hospitals in India where clinical audit is regular thing, Apollo is one example. Additionally, if you’re working in government hospital- you can yourself organise a QIP of 15 patients and present it to a crowd, not a formal audit but it’s something for the CV.

@@MumtazKeh First of all thankyou so much for replying, actually I am doing my internship from KGMU Lucknow and a complete novice in audit , Can you please tell me how can I myself organise an audit and what can be the topics and how much time should be invested, sorry for bombarding you with so many questions 😅 but a little bit anxious here
