Maybe it's that people like Nightwolf, Baraka, etc. were ALWAYS active during the first tournament, but in the original timeline, the only reason they showed up in later games is because the devs haven't thought of them yet.

I really love the lore that you explained on the whole *"Nightwolf"* issue and you mentioned the part when he takes Sindel down with him in Mortal Kombat 9. It still makes me wonder what was the meaning behind the spell and the words he chanted in his Matokan/Lakota tongue.

Oh man, great idea! So when you play MK9 with subtitles on, you can actually see what the words are.... my plan is to play through MK9, find out the correct spelling of his exact words, then add subtitles to this video with that information.

You left out from MK11 the dialogue Nightwolf had with Kabal Nightwolf- You were there with Kano Kabal- The job needed fast hands Nightwolf- And they defiled Matokan lands This shows that Kabal was helping Kano with raiding Nightwolf’s ancestral lands. This was shown off during Nightwolf’s reveal trailer so you could have brought that up but oh well 🤷🏻‍♂️

Thanks for following my request, I feel appreciated. On the Spirits and their world: "A place between the Realms from which Shamanic power Originates" is it what Argus said? If so, then are the spirits like the Gods actually individual beings that existed outside the One Being's consciousness or are they spirits living inside the One Being's Body or soul as they had been consumed by it over the aeons? Also If the former is true, then what does it say about the Elder gods and the Titans? Are they just spirits like the Great Mother but more powerful? That could be an interesting case, because it would fit with many real life Mythologies where gods are just spirits or Kami like in Shinto, though the diffrence between Kami and actual dieties is actually very thin.What do you think about it Tambok99?

I think the spirits refer to a number of things but it's never 100% clear if they were once normal wolves that became spirits or if they were always spirits that just took on wolf form. A little bit of a mystery there! I like that it's a place between realms (from where Shamanic power originates) and also that Nightwolf traveled through there before escaping the Netherrealm and being sent to earth. Maybe ALL interdimensional portals actually cross through the spirit realm first. TBH this idea reminds me a little of this episode of X-Men: Evolution where they showed that when Nightcrawler teleports he actually crosses through the Brimstone dimension.

They could use the idea of successors to the title too. When shadow wolf dies in red dead revolver he could be revived by the wolf spirit and spend the the time of red dead redemption 2 training as a shaman to be Nightwolf. This could be continued with eagle flys too
