I'm considering transferring from an Aus University (38k tuition fee a year) to a Singaporean University (SMU hopefully). The 3 year job thing is a good deal but scaring me because I'm afraid I won't get any work as an international student since im Filipino. I'm that scared to be unemployed for the whole year. Hello! I didn’t really have much achievements in cocurricular activities. I think the admission to NUS is mostly based on ur result! 🤣 For scholarship part, u need to see the eligibility criteria for different scholarships. I thk if u want to get scholarships, cocurricular activity might be more important. And also interview is important too!

Ermm there is no requirement for you to upload a formal personal statement, but there is one column in the application form that requires you to write about yourself so its basically similar to it haha, but maybe shorter?

Do you happen to have any friends who did IGCSE back in high school, A levels in college and is accepted into NUS? There seems to be a common notion that NUS prefers students from Chinese Independent School rather than International School so I want to know about your opinions. Thank you ^^

Actually thrs alot of ppl frm alevels too! But its just that alevel exam is worldwide and chinese school exam which is UEC is only limited to malaysia. Thts why ppl may say alevels are harder to get in bc u compete with more ppl but actly thrs more slots for alevels too so does not rlly matter i thk haha
