The Z1A is such a beautiful bike, especially this model with the green tank with yellow and white stripes. My favourite paint scheme. This particular bike in your video looks and sounds like it’s almost new. Joe is such a lucky owner.

Beautiful original Z1! When it came out in Germany, it was tested in the Magazin "Motorrad" with the headline "Frankenstein's Daughter"! Because of the driving performance. What always amazes me is that it only got a double disc brake at the front in 1975. The Yamaha TX 750, although less powerful, had a double disc right from the start, at least in Europe! What was ist like in Japan, in the USA the TX only had one? Greetings.

That's an interesting way to put it😄. BTW, answer questions, the first TX750A of 1972 was single disc brake, and next TX750B of 1974 was double disc brake. Maybe Yamaha confronted other competitors.
