SweetEmelyne's this isn't really a dress suggestion, but it is kind of a dress design suggestion. You have a very small figure which is nothing to be ashamed about, but I think a dress with a kind of low v-neck and possible spaghetti straps would look really good on you. I think lace would be good on your dress also because you are and two vintage things and lace kind of has that antique, vintage feel to it. I also think that you would look really good and long sleeve lace for your wedding dress but you said you wanted your wedding to be in the summer. I just thought I would say that.

just some small advice, shop around before you say yes hahaha i can not stress this enough, i bought my dress from the first place we went and it was the 2nd dress i tried on, i ended up losing about 40lbs so during my first fitting which was 3 weeks ago i did not like the dress anymore, i feel like it just looked better on 40lb heavier me? idk but they had to completely start over on it because of the size, i felt really bad, my last fitting is next week so maybe now that it actually fits ill fall in love again, we will see!

A vintage style bouquet would be pretty. Some people put a charm inside that has a special meaning. Wearing a piece of vintage jewelry, a grandmother's or mother's, would be nice to wear. A lacy vintage hankie with blue lace or edging could be something blue. Happy planning!

girl u and i are so much alike when it comes to weddings haha, my fiance and i have been together since highschool so like 8 years, since we moved in together in 2016 i just knew we were going to be together forever so i would also save things like venue ideas, colors, small detail things in a folder on my laptop. we got engaged this last November and i just went into booking mode haha, i had the venue booked the next month, i asked my wedding party to be in the wedding, i got bridesmaid dresses, had music already picked, my colors are dusty rose, taupe and burgundy, i am so happy i did all of this so early because now i just have to focus on the details and its not so stressful because all the big things are done! our wedding is now 30 days away!! i cant believe how time flew, enjoy the planning and every min.! love ya! p.s. to ask your bridesmaids, i actually made the boxes i gave them, i wrote something sweet with the question and glued it inside and put there favorite snack, a nail polish and a sparkling cider. they are loved it!

FIRST.....go try every dress you can on even if you don't think it looks great on the hanger!,(don't even worry about the price at this point!) You will be shocked at how you feel in all the different silhouette's. you may end up with something completely opposite of what you thought.

Weird advice: Have as much fun wedding planning as possible! My husband and I had a 1.5 year long engagement but we started new jobs during that time. We were both so rushed and frantically calling vendors while working long hours that we didn't shop around and didn't enjoy the engagement.

Regarding asking ‘maids: this may sound tacky to some, but I asked mine in a text. Stay with me! I didn’t have many & it followed a tradition of the minute my two closest cousins got engaged, they couldn’t wait long enough to tell us in person (we were in separate states) so the text was, “I just got engaged!! Will you be my bridesmaid?!” And we just kinda continued it. Nothing fancy and a sweet story ❤️ When my friend recently got engaged, she and her mom made sweet cards for us ‘maids asking us to stand by her on her big day.

Some couples wait at lease 2, 3 years after their engagement before they finally decide to marry. And you should make your boxes for your bridesmaids and put maybe a vintage teacup in it with their favorite teas. Maybe you could do a 50's Brunch video with them and then surprise them with the boxes. That way you have your little touch of vintage without the vintage wedding.

Not sure about other designers but I occasionally see somewhat similar dresses from the knot, martha stewart weddings. and bldn on Instagram. The box idea for bridesmaids is a good idea. If you put them together yourself you can add personal things that cater to the individual instead of having them match. Yes to wedding videos. I too watch every one from the channels I subscribe to. Even ones I dont. Dont know of you like diy's but there are nice wedding themed ones on here too. The only channel I can think of right now are The Sorry Girls. They had some wedding diy's.

I made my own gift bags to ask my bridesmaids! I just put together some sweets and some lip and face things and a card. :) Most bridesmaids I feel like don't neccessarily even expect a gift when they're asked so I wouldn't stress too much about making it fancy or extravagant.

You definitely need to go try on lots of styles. You’re right, you shouldn’t order anything unless you have tried it on. You may have a style in mind but then try it on and be disappointed and then again you could try it on and love it. You don’t have to pay to try it on. Also, Kleinfelds is great at finding what you want within your budget. I recommend you start there. My sister officiated my wedding and it was perfect!

We got married on Halloween(our fav holiday.) We had our moms,grandmas and siblings at the ceremony then we had a Halloween party for the reception and invited our friends and other family. I didn't want a bunch of people at the ceremony. Just the ones closest to us. Our daughter walked me down the aisle and his best friend married us.

okay so totally gonna give some advice i hope you dont mind! when i went dress shopping the lady put something similar to her head piece in my hair with the veil and i got so caught up in the moment i just said ill take it hahah, well that thing was $150!! if i could go back in time i honestly would have gotten it from amazon which u can find for about $15 to $20 depending on the style or on wish.com u can get it for a $1! and its super good quality! i bought my bridesmaids the ones from wish, just order at least a month in advance!

I think there is a place in New York City that rents wedding dresses. Not sure what the name is. Do not order a dress from overseas dress makers. Please let someone do your hair. Half up and half down. Low buns to the side are pretty too. Check Pinterest for wedding hairstyles. Your makeup needs to be darker for pictures though. Go and get a makeup trial and hair trial. You will be too stressed to handle hair and makeup on your wedding day.
