Thanks for the video. I hadn’t realized that All About Spelling was so colorful and had fun games.

Great tips! Thanks for sharing. Another thing could be to laminate those smaller squared ones. And use the dry erase markers. Or cheaper maybe a piece of clear tape.

Those are great suggestions!

Love this!!! My type A heart is beaming 😂 question Is there a reason why you decided to keep the flashcards separate instead of placing them in with the lesson.

😂😂 I can’t function without organization 😅 so I’m the same way! I kept the flashcards in the box because at the beginning of each lesson, we will review previous lessons cards for 2-3 minutes and I didn’t want to have to flip back and forth through the page protectors in the binders to find the right cards. Im able to keep them organized in the box in a way that lets me seamlessly pick up with where we left off in our previous lesson 🥰

Another tip. We skip the cards all together. The teacher guide has a spelling list for each lesson. We have a spelling “menu” and we add the spelling rules to a list each time we across them.

That's a great idea! I Love the "Menu" idea!

Other things in the spelling menu include the progress chart, the word banks, the syllable division rules as we come to them, a list of common words (a, the, you, your, to and do as of the end of book 2), list of rule breakers and a page with a list of the vowels, the consonants, consonant teams as we come to them, vowel teams as we come across them, sounds of er and sh as we get to them, and a list of syllable types as we get to them!
