About manipal university not having design course? I don't agree. MSAP(Manipal school of architecture and planning) & DOD ( department of design) constituent unit of mahe, was established in 2012 , it offers FASHION DESIGN AND INTERIOR DESIGN as bachelor's, masters, doctoral and certificate courses!!...

And school of architecture and design (manipal university Jaipur) offers BFA , B.DES , M.DES too. It was also established before srishti.

@@gagansuvarna8983 Manipal was not oriented around just design! When we talk about a design college, it means a college that's focus is on design majorly! Btw thanks for the history! As Srishti is under Manipal Umbrella, Definitely now Manipal have a specific focus on design too!

Srishti doesn't have fashion designing. Then what stream in b design to select, human centered design or creative design. Please guide🙏

There is not any course named creative design ! Creative writing and Creative Education are there ! Because all Design fields are creative ! Although the Human Centered Design course is good, all others are also good. It depends on your personal interest ! What do you wanna be and what do you like to do ?! For further personal guidance you can dm me on my instagram. There you can tell me your interests and I would try suggesting you the course based on your interests

Srishti doesn't offer fashion design yeah but offerz various other specialisations in design but if you want fashion designing itself you can go for MSAP & DOD (MAHE , MANIPAL) OR SCHOOL OF ARCHITECTURE AND DESIGN (MANIPAL UNIVERSITY JAIPUR)

No! But they might phrase some question that may ask you to give measurements of the product you made as an answer to the question! So basic maths might be helpful! Otherwise I don't think they would ask the typical math questions

Just stay away from this institute. My daughter was forced to repeat twice for stupid reasons. Degree completed in 6 years. Institute is only a money making machine for some

Sad to hear about your daughter's experience! I think everyone have different perspectives based on individual experiences! Many students including me are completing the course in 4 years only! There might be several reasons for students repeating some years like lack of attendance! The college is definitely expensive but people who take admission see the fee structure before admission! Afterall it's individual choice, I am not a official spokesperson for Srishti! I show and tell things through my personal experience! The decision to take admission is completely yours! Thankyou !

@@turvigupta Graphics and UI UX are two different things but they are somewhere interrelated! That's why there can be different approaches to how you wanna go ahead with your choices! ONE APPROACH can be: If you wanna be specifically do UI UX, I would recommend going for HCD course in Srishti that focuses on UI UX but not only limited to this ! It teaches you research methods that you can apply to other product design aspects also! SECOND APPROACH can be: If you are not sure whether you wanna narrow down your specialisation or in other words you want to explore first that where your interest lies. For example: You might be unsure whether you want to do printmaking, illustrations, advertising, or any such course, then I would recommend opting for the Graphic Design (VCSB) as your major because you get to learn different things under one umbrella! Later on you can find your interest in the process and can speacialise on one thing if you wish to ! Otherwise be a free bee that can make honey with all kind of flowers. Out of these two approaches just go with the one you relate with!

You can choose to give exam for more than one course but You can't take more than one as your major courses after selection!

Not official placements but there is some sort of an exhibition that happens after your final project where if luckily some company arrived and liked your project, you might get a lead from there!

@@rishidwivedi8634 ofcourse there are many people because MIT and SMI are big names , MIT has many branches ! There are also events and fests but Smi and Mit fests are different and completely separate because they are not the same college ! Srishti was not under mit before, it was a different college but now it has been tied up with mit but still everything is different in terms of it's courses as it is a design technology college ! Mit is for engineering technology ! It depends on what are you interested in and what kind of brain you have, is it creative or technical ! Depending on that you decide where to go ! Just to make it clear, MIT and Srishti students barely interact during college time because of separate campuses ! I am a smi student, so I can't say anything about MIT's studies but from far it seems good !
