I have the Turkish version of it with the drinking tube, the SR10ST. The light gray-ish white version made for the Gendarmerie and police forces, while the ones made for the army (like mine) is black. You're actually pretty lucky if you find gray SR10s, they're much rarer than the black military ones.

@@Weaponsandstuff93 Yeah, majoritily Dirty Grey. And theres a supposed panaromic version of this mask with the visor of a Draeger and the bottom part of the S6.

@@Weaponsandstuff93 The army,sas and sat units used to use the black ones and the grey ones were usually used by police sergeants(not normal officers) and riot control officers.Oh and a fun fact Turkey also has a unit called SAS but it stands for Su Altı Savunma which means underwwater defence. :)

@@Weaponsandstuff93 My Turkish copy has black straps and no inflation. It says 1996 MKEK (short term for Mechanical and Chemical Industry Corporation) and NRH 2 (I don't have a single idead what that means) on it.

I've done a slight teardown of my s6 I got as a restoration project and I'm trying get at the exhale valve as it is stuck shut but I don't know how to get to it. Do you know?

I have an SF10IM from 1999. I’m wondering Is it worth anything? Being it seems pretty rare. I got mine from a former SBS guy from the U.K. It has the Microphone inside and the cable etc.

Quick question about my C3 gas mask, my mask is 60mm but has green tape on it around the exhale and inhale, is it some sort of copy....? Also it doesnt say CA(date) it just says the date with no indication that its Canadian but it says GTR

As in what it's made from etc? This will be a fairly old weak plastic, newer masks generally use polycarbonate which is far stronger.

The early 1960s British 40mm filters apparently did but all the ones from the 70s/80s or later should not.
