Thank you SO MUCH for this video (the demonstration on elasticity/assessing the health of your hair on your own opened my eyes like nothing else has)! Seems like most of the other haircare videos on youtube are filled with the basic tips of girls who bleached/heat fried their hair, stopped bleaching/heatstyling, started oil treatments, and realized, "WOW, my hair grows long!" ... like that wasn't obvious, lol. This actually gets into the nitty gritty on what it takes to grow beautiful and thick hair beyond just mid-back length. The video is so well constructed and your voice is so soothing. I hope you continue to make haircare videos (would love to see a video on leave-in conditioners/techniques to help detangle) - yours is easily one of the best haircare channels on youtube and it's only been a month!!

Thank you for sharing all your knowledge and information 🙂 i have recently started following a capillary schedule as well, I am excited to see the long-term effects. I would also be really curious to see how you do the ACV rinse some day, if that's an idea you'd consider for a next video 🙂 xx

I heard about it and was curious to try. Who are your favorite hair influencers on social media? Your hair is gorgeous. I’m a lot older than you and I’m trying to grow my hair again really long like I used to. Oils help. Dying my grays hair with henna and indigo definitely help. When I get lazy and use a dye on my roots boy do I suffer. A good mask I discovered is a Japanese hair mask called Shiseido Tsubaki Premium Repair Hair mask. I tried a million of them and this is a good one. $11.99 as well. I’m a DIY girl too. FYI maximum moisture is aloe and glycerin mixed prepoo.

My first inspirations were @trulykimberley & @alexandrarriaga as well as @justjackieslonghair , still follow a lot of their recommendations 💕 Your journey sounds amazing, sounds like you already know what works for you!🥰

Awesome information, well presented, easy to understand, but I did rewind a lot taking notes. Thanks for this , I learned today! 😊 new subscriber, looking forward to your videos. Different strokes for different folks ,, doing what works for you is what it’s all about. I somehow missed how often you wash , is it once or twice a week, just tues or tues&sat? I’d love a video about the proteins for types! Thanks again for great information.

Thank you! I hope it was helpful, I tried my best to explain it as simple as possible. Your support means a lot to me!✨ I wash depending on how my scalp feels, mostly twice a week, but in the winter sometimes I don’t need to wash more than once a week. And I’ll take note, definitely will make a video on proteins and how to use them in haircare.

Thank you! This video was super informative! Could you please share what your food intake is for healthy hair?

Glad to hear it! And I actually don’t follow a specific food or diet plan. I eat whatever I feel like, but I try to keep it balanced. That’s literally it. I just eat the way I was taught to my whole life.

ive been doing it for a few months now, i dont plan to stop, at the very least, i have benefitted from more frequent washes. I have gotten so much better at figuring out what my hair needs, today it seemed to have a very good balance, strong, but elastic, but not too much. overall, my hair seems much more hydrated overall, which is what i really needed. what brush is that you have?

also i agree with the DIY hair masks, it doesnt really work, I use things at home like hydrolyzed gelatin, but it has to be hydrolyzed, an egg wont work , i purchased a gallon hair mask, and i will add ingredients to it like honey, cassia, hydrolyzed proteins, and oils, but you need something that will penetrate : )

Sounds amazing! I’m glad it works for you as well. And I use the Innate Life Detangling brush to detangle my hair daily (similar to a Tangle Teezer, but it not being from plastic avoids static), and I use the Tek brushes for regular brushing. Also it sounds amazing the way you make your hair masks!✨

Depends on which masks, but most I apply after shampooing and leave in for about 15 minutes, rinse off and follow with conditioner as usual.
