No, it's not a gradient lens. At least not on the Mavericks. Top to bottom is all even.

@@meandmyjackets thanks for this anser. What about Hawaii Lava which is red mirror over HCL bronz lens? Is Hawaii Lava gradient? By the way i have been enjoying your Maui Jim searies alot. The special thing in your MJ videos is that you describe things in a proper detail and format. By any chance if you have your hands on Maui Jim Wiki Wiki sunglass, kindly make a video on that. Also if its possible kindly cover few MJ styles those can be worn on formal occasions like in office or meeting and at the same time no compromise on the protection. I mean those who are light sensetive can wear at least HT lenses in different frames after customisation

@@salmond_Lawistani The only model that I've had with the Hawaii lava lens is the Sharks cove. That one is gradient. But I honestly cant say if it's gradient on all other models. I would guess that the gradient is not the normal. Thanks for watching the videos, I do hope to do more Maui Jim videos in the future.🙂

Great sunglasses. Terrible case.

I really do like these Mavericks, they are lightweight, and look great. While the case is not as durable as a hard case, I do find that it protects the glasses well, and it folds up when nicely to pack into a bag.
