All About The Three Stripe Damsel or Humbug Dascyllus

These are a great addition for beginners in the hobby of saltwater! They are very cute and very sweet when they are little, but they do tend to get very aggressive as they get older!

Finding Nemo lied to me. In an older tank of mine I had this fish mixed with a Royal Gramma, I never guessed it would bully it so much that the Royal Gramma stayed tucked away next to the filter until I got rid of the humbug.

They are both in the Pomacentridae family

@@thewhiteplague4143 I still have the "basics". 2 clownfish 1 Yellowtailed Blue Damsel 1 Purple Stripped Dottyback 1 Bangi Cardinalfish. I'm a truck driver and only get home once a month so I haven't upgraded my fish yet. I do have a bunch of hermit crabs and different types of corals but mostly Zoas.

Lee and Mandy Battersby Damsels will be damsels but it’s fine to have just them in tanks together.
