The sad reality of Adrian Broner's career is that his entire corner are all yes-men. From his dad to his coach, they all enable Broner to just be a clown instead of having him take boxing seriously. Broner has the skill, talent, and potential to be great but the inability of the people around him to keep him straight is what is going to be his downfall.

Broner can never be Mayweather. Floyd doesn't drink, smoke, do weed or spends a lot of time doing music. He is dedicated to boxing and always in shape. That is the difference. Also Floyd always does post fight press conferences and always respects the fighters by hugging them after the fight. Broner has age on his side but make no mistake, this loss will hit him really hard. It reminded me of when Tyson fought Buster Douglas and lost for the first time as he wasn't prepared or didn't take him seriously. Broner was so fat when he did a rap tour recently.

Lewis Grindell well shane is still active, to some degree. most fighters stay in shape but eat things that they weren't allowed to during there careers. if he did come back it would hurt him more in the ring because of the weight drained and what may have you. the cons out weigh the pros inside the ring. he would be slower and a little softer. he faced the best of boxing, and lost, where do you go from there. he is a former world Champ, if he kept going you would get the same thing that happened to rios. sluggers don't tend to last too long if they gained a lot of weight and stay off. it's best maidana stays retired, if he comes back he would have to move up in weight which i think his power wouldn't be the same as a welterweight. he already had problems making welterweight he would have to be, borderline junior middleweight to full middleweight.

How many times does Broner have to be exposed in the ring for his fanboys to stop hyping him. First Quintero beat him, then Ponce De Leon beat him, then Paulie made him look like shit, and now Chino has fucked his world up and sent him out of the ring in tears... I think it's time to pick another hero.

"THERE'S ONLY 1 FLOYD MAYWEATHER JR" If there's anything Broner could learn from Floyd, it's that being polarizing should remain promotional and not a part of your real character. Floyd often plays the bad guy leading up to fights. The true Floyd Mayweather surfaces after his fights when he speaks at the Post Fight Conferences. Maybe Adrien Broner needed this loss to humble him into this perspective.

very true !
@newyork516911 жыл бұрын
***** I disagree, you cannot compare Floyd to Adrien. Adrien got so cocky that he lost the focus for this fight... The guy was out drinking eating all night came back fat if you saw him in the Mayweather Canelo All Access... Mayweather preserves his body and has been focused his whole life. He's also not one dimensional like Broner who can't make the right adjustments. Mayweather has fought way tougher opponents than Maidana.
