as a long term boxing fan, and I mean boxing not "street-fights" or brawls.. Floyd is without a doubt in my opinion the best boxer ever.... can fight inside and outside, aggressive and defensive, and almost never takes a clean shot. his timing and ring generalship and management is better than anyone ever; after 34 fights he had more KO's than Ali at 34, for all the haters out there. Floyd is the best pure boxer ever and no one else I can think of, has ever come close. Name someone? Sugar Ray? Roy Jones? neither are as technically precise as Floyd, he just doesn't make mistakes ever.

He had a really tough life and worked his ass off to the top, beating everyone in his way and always proving haters wrong. The amount of hate and abuse Floyd received during his career is super sad, but I never seen him complain or back down from anything. A true definition of a fighter, in the ring and outside of it. Im glad that after all these years hes finally getting the respect he deserves. Floyd has EARNED it. And he has every right to call himself TBE.

@gordonleighclark
@gordonleighclark 8 жыл бұрын
+AkaEliteBeast Floyd, to me (and most boxing historians that are now commenting on this) was the great fighter that 'coulda been'. He dictacted all of the terms post De Le Hoya. He's claimed forever how he's been the A Side yet he couldn't make the fight with Pacman happen when it SHOULD'VE HAPPENED. If he's the boss like he'd say, what was the hold up?? Did he smash Pac? Sure. But there'll always be that question mark bc HE didn't make it happen when it shoud've happened. He catch weight's Canelo for no other reason than bc he can (and to make Canelo more weak night of the fight) and then ha takes Berto (not named on ONE top 10 list) and people still applaud him. He coulda been great. If he was like an Ali or Leonard or Robinson, all guys who would be outside of your front porch if u said u were greater than them, we might have seen how good Floyd was. But the TBE crap... he's the greatest business man of all time. He's the greatest villain in the sport all time. He's the greatest defender all time. But best boxer... please. It's an insult to the sport to agree with that one.
@AkaEliteBeast
@AkaEliteBeast 8 жыл бұрын
Gordon Leigh Clark I agree with what you are saying but as I stated in my comment, nothing we say now matters. It's all said and done the man retired and now no one will get a chance to try and beat him. When people say he is TBE I tend to both agree and disagree but the truth of the matter is who am I to say he is or isn't. The man went undefeated and that's something I'll never take from a person who worked hard to build a reputation, an empire, and provide for his family. I'd be a JACKASS if I tried to shit on his achievement. Let him think he's the best. Let him feel he's the best. It won't matter anyway all we should care about now is who will make headlines as the next best GENERATION boxer. Anyway, my point is I'm congratulating him on a flawless record nothing more nothing less. No history lessons should be mentioned, nothing from the past should be mentioned just seize the moment and own it! I'll show myself out.

Guess u missed the video's where he's cursing at his dad and talking to him like he's the scum of the earth and basically spitting on him. @@LUIGAUZUKI Only when you're profitable, useful to them, quiet/submissive, and/or entertaining them will you be "loved" by them. As long as they feel in control they can feel at ease. It's just that simple. Tyson entertained by his phenomenal KO steak. He was extremely profitable. Holyfield, the quiet non threatening submissive type. Who fought the technical way they appreciate (like Joshua). His style and nature made him favorable. Ali was entertaining. He was extremely profitable. Also, his charisma was rare and couldn't be denied. He was the type of person that people couldn't stay mad at for long. He was definitely hated by them when he refused to join the military. They were offended when he said those foreign people never done anything to him, but that it was them, the same country that wants him to fight for them. They didn't like that at all. They loathe being exposed. Which is why punishment is always sure to follow and it did. "Hear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil." That's their philosophy. Meanwhile, them doing evil is all the reason for the saying in the first place. Crafty people have crafty ways.

Floyd mayweather showed us how much hatred exists in this country. people who literally don't know shit about boxing jump the band wagon of hate. they're just following what's trending. oh look everyone hates Floyd, we should hate him too. Floyd singlehandedly made boxing mainstream again. Floyd made boxing a technically liked sport again since everyone just wants brawling knockouts. Floyd made me realize how much skill it takes to anticipate, adapt, evade, defend and offend an opponent.

You really think Floyd is religious or "fears" god. If he feared god I don't believe he would have done some of the things he did and just the simple way he disrespects just about everyone, including his own family. That doesn't seem to be a god fearing individual, to me atleast. He's a narcissist, lies al the time, and genuinely seems like a bad person.

+JORDAN WREN Another man taught a lesson in the "Art of War"! Berto’s circle must not be tight! Mayweather preaches this is Chess not checkers. Al Hayman taught the still young, rich, healthy, and God given talented Mayweather very well. He taught Floyd about business is War! (BEEF). The streets and common sense is the rest. Lesson 101 always plants a SPY in your enemy’s camp!...I notice from an interview that the CEO of Mayweather promotion gave. Leonard stated I quote when you land in our city (Vegas) Mayweather’s camp KNOW an individual every move in Vegas. He goes on to say this is OUR CITY we should know everything. My opinion Berto"s girlfriend was the SPY… IMAGINE!.. Mayweather offered her some money for information. She makes the deal use your imagination what is included in the contract Mayweather makes his women sign a contract I have heard smart business. Notice the caption in the video and wording during key moments during video. Example, her spy role began when all access views Berto's home. Mayweather makes a comment on TV notice video focuses on Berto’s girlfriend. The producer Floyd focuses on Berto’s girlfriend in key moments throughout video. Two, during fight Mayweather licks his tongue @ Berto’s girlfriend 9:17 in of the video. Examine during the video it always mentions Floyd as man # 1. Berto is always mentioned as Man #2. Third, notice in the caption while Berto’s girlfriend is standing alone @ 13:28 of the video it states INDISTINCT CONVERSATION. If you notice in that frame no one was talking. Transition to Berto notice the music chosen Kill that Man. While during same time in the caption it states INDISTINCT CONVERSATION while Berto whistles for his girlfriend. Berto’s girlfriend main focus while perfect timing of video focuses on her texting who?. She should be pampering her Man. Focus back to Mayweather someone mentions 49-0 baby the P4P king response was Man # 2 : 49! @ 14:15 of video as if to say to Berto your MAN #2. Mayweather’s video then transition to Floyd being pampered. As if to say Berto’s your girlfriend will shower with me tonight and pamper me. In my humble opinion he was sending Berto a strong message throughout video or get inside Berto’s head. Let your own mind judge what was the beef between the two. Mr. Virgil mentions every chance he got that it was personal. Berto also states Floyd was breathing hard in his ear hmmm maybe Floyd wanted him to know about his girlfriend. Remember money is the root of all evil!

When Floyd said, “everything you taught me from day one...I’ll always remember.” That’s shoes the real character of that man, big up to you Floyd Joy. You have to give it up to him for changing the game completely & will always be synonymous with the squared circle.
