Perhaps one may have lost an arm in a car accident. I've restrung my gat back and forth a few times & have found it hard to decide. So now I have two guitars and play them both left and right handed. In what I thought was a very limiting factor (one arm) I have found a liberating, unforeseen bonus!

Sorry to be critical, but this bassline is like the beginner's version. This is nothing like the recorded version of Hendrix's (bass) arrangement. Jimi actually played bass on the record, Noel Redding had to learn Jimi's bass part for later live performances. Bob Dylan has commented that Hendix's version was the definitive one.

If you want to be critical then don't apologise. This tutorial is aimed at the beginner and not the technically correct audience so ease up. One thing which I will wholeheartedly agree with is that Jimi didn't even need Noel, Jimi played Lead, Rhythm & Bass alone, just lucky Mitch was around!
