I have a guitarist virtuoso friend Chuck Flanagan and he back in the 1970's auditioned for Don Henley's song " Dirty Laundry".. Chuck came over my neighbors house across the street from me! Buena Park California.. Chuck played so loud cops came over! He's a very good guitar player and a fine Christian.. Chuck is on KZbin " Omni Speaker Cabinets For the Electric Guitar...." .. he can play ANYTHING on guitar! He also makes lightweight electric guitars! Feedback like crazy through the amp! Check him out....

It's also very important, possibly even more important than chastising those you feel are asleep, to realise many many people can't any longer find the signal for all the noise. Those of us tuned in are so much better served by trying to help and love all of the people all of the time than we are separate ourselves from all else because there's truth in the notion that only a full house gonna make it through. The frustration however is very real and I hear ya.

@Darrenski6 ай бұрын
That's because we had the original jimi hendrix, he had to come here to be appreciated. London has also hosted every band that ever meant a thing hundreds of times over. There are literally hundreds of great London bands, and no I'm not a kid either. But did it cross your mind that seeing the finest music in the world in London is a regular thing. The musical gifts that London and the wider UK have gifted the world are immeasurable and no other country comes close. Sure the usa had 50s teeny bopper stuff and now hip hop which sounds like it hit its best before date many years ago and a bunch of poppy trash, but for quality music and the finest bands by some distance the British bands are in a league of their own. THAT is why in any other country ppl would all be stood around with their jaws on the floor, but it you want to impress the British with music you better be damn good. Led zeppelin trounced this in 1973 when the members were like 23-25. We've seen every genre of music and the absolute best of every genre. Yeah he's an OK busker, like hundreds of other decent buskers all over London. Ppl in London WILL stop and admire stuff that's different or really good. Not just average good or cheesy good. Every other city in the world would all be in awe simply cause the standards theyre used to are a lot lower and because they're much easier to please. Bring music to London and you better bring an A++ level.

I heard several bum notes..so I can tell you're no guitarist. They were actually very obvious and not worth dropping your jaw on the floor. Walk round London and see how many decent buskers there are as good or better than this guy, which IS what this guy is, a busker. If he was such a player on the strings he'd be earning a decent living as at least a session musician, and if he had that plus an ability to come up with his own material he wouldn't have to stand in the street trying to impress a ppl who have seen every decent act ever hundreds of times over. If you want to stop life moving in London then you better bring something next level cause we had led zeppelin as far back as 69. The bar in London is set very high. Not just in music but in everything. So whilst this might put life on a standstill anywhere else in the.world., it's only gonna get a passing glance in London. It's all about what you're accustomed to, what makes you go wow omg. And obviously you need to bring a better product to London if you wanna impress. That's just market forces

@@nickbouvy6524 I honestly think of Bob Dylan as one of those artists whose work is actually better when interpreted by others. It's almost like his songs are just templates for others to come along and put finishing touches on. Jimi absolutely adored Bob Dylan and literally carried a notebook with Dylan lyrics in it with him everywhere he went. If you want to hear another great Dylan song reworked check out Don't Think Twice It's Alright by Clapton at Madison Square Garden from the early 90's. Sounds more natural to me. 👍
