I've been watching your videos for a while now, and keep thinking to myself "how is this guy not massive". Then it dawned on me that this world does not appreciate good music anymore. Our society has become so fake and narcissistic. But thank you for keeping real music alive and making these videos.

Thank you for the video! This song reminds me if Bono and U2 in Hattle and Hum video, playing on the street!

Honestly I think it's just an algorithm thing. It's kind of like a lottery in some ways. You just have to play long enough to catch. Do you know any Young people? Maybe I live in a bubble but all the young people I know have very similar taste in music as I do. A lot of 90s and a lot of 70s music. The Gen X offspring.
@JoeW-n5w8 ай бұрын
@@Picklemedia I'm 30, and the only other person I know who has a good taste in music is my niece who is 21, which is obviously a good thing but, I think she's a bit of an outlier. Maybe I just have a really pessimistic outlook on everything these days. All other people my age either don't listen to music at all or just listen to mainstream music. Nothing wrong with that at all, but most people call my taste in music "weird" which I find really disconcerting, and the only place I find solace in my music taste is online, such as places like this channel.
@JoeW-n5w8 ай бұрын
@@Picklemedia I do agree with the algorithm thing though. It is luck of the draw. In any case, this guy deserves great success, he's very talented. I do wonder though, with all of the hugely talented artists we come across online, that if they were born in a different era, maybe they would have gone down in history as music legends. I find it hard to believe that people like Layne Staley, Kurt Cobain, Jimi Hendrix or Bob Dylan would have risen to fame in todays over saturated and over marketed music industry.

Bit of a mish mash of Dylan and Hendrix. Absolutely delicious for my ears. Does both artists proud it’s like the best of both worlds. I love this version of this song I love a lot

Well, I put this one off for a bit as I felt this might be the Achilles Heel for you. This is bold song choice as I am one that holds certain songs and performance to very high standard and many songs are untouchable by most. Jimi did it by taking this Dylan song to a new height. You managed to float somewhere closer to the Dylan version....while allowing your own touch shine through. You didn't revamp two masterpieces into a third one - you honored and respected them both and managed to step through the minefield of taking on some hallowed ground and not failing...in fact, making a respectable and beautiful version that is good as it gets. You are on the Mount Rushmore of Watchtower players. Dylan for scribing it and performing it....Jimi for honoring the original but somehow taking it to a new height that is purely Hendrix and a pure musical epic adventure. You just made a version that I would cue up on my playlist and proudly present to any music fan...."o yeah.....listen to this". Bravo.

We all need a "Watchtower" if we plan to hear from God. It is a secluded place, a special place, quite and away from the bustle of life. A special place set aside for our talks with God. God will reward our efforts to "climb" to our own personal "Watchtower!" 🪶 ✨ Thanks River for sharing your musical talents with the world. Blessings from Georgia USA 🪶 ✨
