So I’ll just debunk something Abdallah got wrong, you can get an alpha spiritomb, even alpha unown. After you catch all 28 from the overworlds, unown will always spawn at the solaceon ruins, where you helped retrieve the ancient slate from the bandit trio. However, spiritomb can spawn at the shrouded ruins at night after you catch the first one. The problem is that it has a 0.88 percent chance of spawning, and an alpha spiritomb is 0.44 chance

you forgot the easiert alphas of all, the magikarp next to obsidian falls (you do have to be able to go on water but still ) easiest alpha out there where as it only knows splash so you can lvl up your small pokemon by battling it!

So just wanted to say I found alpha ghastly haunter and hippopotas in the scarlet bog at night hope this helps though I missed ghastly due to it turning morning when I seen him 😭 ( Update: It seems the ghost type pokemon that appear all over the map at night and don't have consistent (or set location for spawning on a map) seem to appear at random. As my alpha ghastly I caught in the Holm of Trials in the Crimson Mirelands. But originally i seen it in the scarlet bog... unless it spawns in just these two areas. Both times i found this alpha it was just before the sun came up. The first time I failed to get my pokemon out to fight it before he disappeared due to it turning daylight. Not sure if this is related or not time wise as to him spawning because i have only seen him these two times... so you may have to search the whole map every night to get one maybe as i did. Also quite not sure on this as well hopefully this update? helps?)

Other than the size, they have higher EVs and they have 1 move that's a tutor move. No increased stats as far as I know

When you catch an alpha and use it your self it’s just bigger than others. It looses all of its buffs. It only has them when it’s an NPC before you catch it. Once you catch it , it no longer has the “wild might buff” I’ve tested this extensively with the same Pokémon at the same level, same effort value, one alpha one not… EVERYthing. Other than the potential free special move gained and size, there is no power difference in an alpha and regular size Pokémon once obtained for yourself . Disappointed
