Thank you! I thought about this too. It’s a lose-lose situation. I don’t think he gonna leave Coop on the road like that, but he really can’t risk getting caught and he shot Mo who witnessed it. If Mo still conscious, she can lie and say Preach shot them both then you have her reputation as a respected lawyer vs him as a convicted felon with gang connections. Now, what could also happen is this. Although Preach shot late considering, he shot Mo with no hesitation whatsoever so he may end up killing Mo himself in anger and grief as it shows Coop clearly died there and he takes off. I also have a strange feeling his “daughter” is going to walk outside and beg him not to kill Mo, but knowing tv and if she hired this girl, the girl might end up killing Preach herself and Mo lives with both Coop and Preach dead. Man October can’t come soon enough!

After review, coop actually got shot in stomach area or below the chest which means if no organs that are important are hit. She will survive. So hopefully she is still alive. I mean if spencer survived a shot on his chest. Coop can survive a shot to the stomach

This scene and a little bit of this episode parallels to the first season when Coop set Tyrone up and got him setup by the cops and how Spencer won against Crenshaw and now Coop knew she was being setup and she got shot so by this we can inform that Spencer most likely will lose the game and Coop will die.
