It’s gorgeous, Nicole. Your clusters look so cute, and if you never mentioned that you struggled with embellishing, I would never guess. I struggle with embellishing, as well. Beautiful layout! We have an annual family picnic that I scrapbook each year with a double page layout. These layouts go into their own 12x12 album that I can bring out at each picnic. I love seeing the changes that happen over the years.

It turned out great! Love the background ombré effect you did. I struggle with embellishing too!! It’s not fun for me either, most of the time. I think it’s because I’m forced to make decisions that are tough for me! 😛

What is the tool you used to poke the holes for the stitching (and any tips/tricks)? I love how it turned out! 🙂

It is a really old paper piercer from a kit I found years ago at tuesday morning. Tonic/Tim Holtz makes one. I need to replace mine but I am waiting for the scrapbookdotcom one to stock so I can order it and give it a review. You could even use a thumbtack if you have one. As far as tips...depends on your comfort. Sometimes I use a ruler, sometimes a straight edge of cardstock, sometimes I draw a line and eyeball it - it just depends on my mood.
