Hunter has his place in the sniper categories. More of a red-eye sniper than an Aimee sniper. Slightly less of a spotter and trades it for utility against shields and health stations. He feels like a more combat oriented Sparks.

hunter is pretty strong actually. but imo he isn't op at all, his damage seems reasonable, as it's a projectile. +he gets countered by guardian (if anyone ever plays her)

I think considering that his other weapons are relatively weak, his bow balances things out. I don't think he's op at all.

Hunter's interesting... His primary and secondary are unique when it comes to ammo and the crossbow is hard to get good at (AT LEAST FOR ME AND SOME OTHERS XP) But he is fun to play as... And I play Guardian.......... Sometimes

Well if you consider the fact that the xbow does 80dmg in the body and instagibs aura and sparks in the head. Has no ammo or cd, can be hip fired and has 2 secondaries to go along with i dont see how the other snipers are better. I picked him day one and rekt guys 100lvs above me and i'm not a good sniper. Anyway glad to see some more db. Been missing it.

80 to the body and all those extras mean jack shit for a ranged character...a sniper pegging you to the chest and you're basically dead regardless of any medics roaming around unless they want to join you on the ground (sans _Sparks_ , unless the player is a moron). To the head and its all the same. Oh, and _everyone_ basically instagibs Aura...she's under-healthed and has been since release.

Two facts changes it all. Projectile based and charged based. Against someone skilled using Vassili or Aimee, Hunter has no chance.

@DxBlack so ur tellin me that if you hit someone in the chest with a sniper they are done for. hit someone in the chest with a sniper. IN THE CHEST WITH A SNIPER. IN THE CHEST. I cant quite get your point here. this doesn't prove me wrong even if it made sense. 80 body damage means that you dont have to hit the head. no cd means after you hit someone for 80 you can spam at them. all these thing just make the xbow upgraded version of all the sniper rifles. Need i explain further.

@Raire The projectile speed is quite good to the point that you almost dont have to lead shots. And the charge is so quick its seamless. I mean you've played TF2. Not to mention that even after tweaking the hitbox of the bolts is THICC. A skilled sniper can dominate the enemy but it would take a little less skill with hunter. And if we're talking 1v1 hunter vs any sniper both at equal skill then the odds are similar at range and are shifted toward hunter the closer they are to each other. Not only his xbow is as effective (if not more) as the other snipers, he has more utility overall.

Also i am kinda confused. You have, and so have I, played this game for literally years. Both since like alpha stage or whatever. Yet you're level 50. There are level 450+ in the game who have only had it for like a year. Doesn't make sense. Much confused.

There was a bug with the EV where you could "heal it" with Aura's health station. You got points from doing so, which in turn, changes into tons and tons of exp. Like a crazy amount of exp. Also, I don't play as religiously as most people think I do.

It's just that everyone who played this game at first would have heard of you and kandyrew and now there are these level 300's who Ive never seen before and havent heard of you... They do have thousands of hours in the game but then again so do I...

I like the k36 mainly because I dislike the m4 and burst rifles. I also have a Cobalt on that card so that's also why. It's a great card though if it's the one I'm thinking of.
