All American Sharpener with Kubota Mower Blade

I just received my All American Sharpener very happy with the quality! and THANKS so much for this Kubota specific video as one of my mowers is a Kubota GR2120. My blade is rather worn so I wasn’t sure on the angle and can find no info about it. I sure as heck aren’t going to go by a new set of blades. Thank you for all the videos and little tips! That's a good tip, using a shaft on the fixture (verses the grinder & wheel) to match the factory angle. Never thought of that. Thanks.Love my All American. I actually look forward to sharpening my mower blades thanks to you guys.

Thanks for the tip on using the shaft on the grinder adapter to check the angle of the blade. I’ve had an All American Sharpener for 4 years. And to be truthful, I sucked at sharpening my lawn mower blade before my purchase. Your device is rock solid and easy to use. When I replaced my 20+ year old Honda push mower with a new Honda self propelled, you had the adapter for the new style of Honda blades. You have put a lot of thought into your product and are on top of changes in the mower blade industry. After my purchase of your sharpener, every question I had about the device was answered promptly. Replacement parts are readily available. For all these reasons, I would strongly recommend this product. You are not going to get the quality and support with the cheap knockoffs I’ve seen on the internet.

Damn, that was an amazing tip! I purchase your sharpener a couple of years ago and love it. I do have 1 question though regarding the Honda Mower blades. I purchased the adapter and used it the first time but this last time I was in a rush and couldn’t find the adapter and was “able to” to attach them without the adapter. Was I doing something wrong? How was I able to attach and sharpen the Honda Blade without the adapter?

At the time we built the adapter, we only knew of Honda twin blade sets where at least the bottom (wider) blade needed the adapter to sit flush on the vise plate. Over time, more Honda blade shapes have been added or discovered. There have been some reports of Honda twin blade sets that were able to fit in the vise clamp without using the adapter. @@AllAmericanSharpener Thanks for your reply. There really is no need to discuss it further. I just thought that maybe I was doing something wrong by mounting them in the vice without the adapter. Again, that screwdriver tip was great! I can’t wait to try it the next time I need to sharpen my blades. Thanks again for building a great tool. No one should buy the knock off that is out there! Only buy from a great American company!
